So, not only did Rich kick my ass in the gym tonight *upper body*, but then I came home and immediately jumped on my bike and took off on the bike path. I seriously kicked my own ass haha. Did lots of standing riding, pushed myself the entire time, no coasting down hills, and even when I didn’t think I could push myself any harder I kept embracing mind over matter and went even harder. It was AWESOME!! And what’s really good is every time I go, I go farther down the trail, and every time I get back home it’s taken me the same amount of time, yay! So I’m definitely picking up a good amount of speed each time Loving it! Just loving this whole experience!

So not only did I get up an hour early to go for my bike ride this morning.. but I even still went after I looked out my window and saw it was raining. I got soaked, but it was actually quite refreshing. Plus it was cool because all the little woodland animals were out and about hehe. So very proud of myself for still getting out there and biking and discovering that biking in the morning rain is actually a very cool experience.

So I just went on my first bike ride in ohh.. it’s been about a year. I have the jelly legs hehehe. I hauled ass as best I could for a good half hour. And it’s just downright nasty hot outside, thankfully there was a good wind, so I kept cool, and it was good for making it tougher to ride when I had to go against it. Good times The bike path behind my apartment complex is awesome. So once I get used to riding the path, I’m going to start throwing in some mountain biking too. Had to quit running again, bleh. My ankles have started giving me some issues. I kept trying to push through it, but the last time I ran it hurt so bad I threw up. So hopefully taking some time off and doing biking for a while will let me get back into it again. Gotta hit the gym tonight and do upper body. More later…

Well as usual, my day off turned into insanity. I didn’t even have enough time to take care of everything that I wanted to today. But I rocked my final at school and majorly gave 200% effort on my legs at the gym tonight. Which made it really funny when I got on the treadmill afterwards. No way was I attempting running, had the jelly legs haha. So I just walked as quickly as possible for 40 minutes. I was so insanely busy today that I am now eating for only the second time today, yikes! Kind of a bad habit when I get too busy I do tend to forget to stop and eat. I’m working on that. Not much else to say, more later.

I’m exhausted! So glad I have a day off tomorrow I hate it when I end up having to work more than 5 days in a row at work. It really wears a person down. Good thing is, Charlie and myself got out for a run this morning. I don’t know how far or how long we went. Jogged the first half then did hard running, fast walking intervals for the second half. He had a blast! Took him to work too, so he’s officially exhausted too haha. I ate really well today except my boss had a pepperoni pizza for lunch and offered me a couple pieces and well, that’s nearly impossible for me to turn down. But I was proud in that I only ate 2 pieces! Ok sleep soon, about to fall over.

Alright let’s see, I haven’t written in forever. My eating has been going super well. The past couple of weeks I have been eating totally clean except for one meal at work this past weekend. Cheated and went to Wendy’s =P Oh well, it keeps me happy to do something like that every couple weeks. Way better than when I used to have that a few times a week! Yikes!
My new addiction is buffalo meat. Damn that stuff is good. I was even making burgers a week or so ago with it and ate some raw and it was still good haha. Yes, I know I’m gross, but it smelled good.
As far as the weight training goes, I’ve been kicking some butt in making gains. Especially because we started new routines and I hate being weak at stuff, so I’m working really hard to do well. So far, so good
Work is going really well. Working on figuring out a long term career for myself. Kind of have it down to either staying in my current job and working up through the company, canine officer, or dad offered to help me get a job with his company and then I could work my way up through there. The thing about the canine officer is that if I did that, I would be actually going to school full time starting this fall. Which would be ok, because my parents said they would help me with my bills so long as my grades stayed awesome and I at least kept a part time job. So that’s definitely an option I am thinking about. Who knows.
Working on getting more cardio into my routine. I don’t know why I get so lazy about it because I really do love running and I love how I feel afterwards. Need to start taking the dog with me, I’m working on leaning him out too!
