So I’ve decided to pull out of the contest. I have various reasons that I’m not gonna get into.
I’m definitely continuing my weight loss journey though! I hit legs this afternoon at the gym, but it made me a bit nauseous so cardio was cut short. I managed 15 minutes on the bike and like 8 minutes on the treadmill and gave up and came home and ate. I don’t know what was up, but once I can afford it I know I want to order up some Xtend to sip on while working out. Diet has still been fabulous and the boyfriend has been super supportive of everything! Life is good

Alrightie. Things are going fabulous! I’m still staying at 1 pill per serving because it’s working so well right now. I’m only going to increase the dosage if I feel like the energy isn’t quite enough anymore. I don’t want to do it before my body is ready, I get nervous about fat burners!
Tuesday I worked my back and did cardio at the gym. My lats are still sore, woo! God it feels good to have that feeling again. My diet has been fabulous except for a few extra almonds here and there when I really get the urge to snack on something. Today I did perfect and didn’t have anything extra, yay me
Wednesday I had to take off from the gym because I had to have some more biopsies done at the doctor’s office (nothing too crazy but my close friends on here know what’s up with all that). I’ll probably have to have some stuff removed in the next month or so, but again, not a huge deal. I don’t even have to be put under, they just do a local, so that’s cool. It will only put me out of commission for a day or two.
Today I did my shoulders and triceps. I was worried my lats were going to be too sore for shoulders, but I stretched really well before I started lifting and I did good! I’m just really happy that my strength has not dropped too much with me not lifting since September!
That’s all for now I suppose…

Well it’s official. I’ve started the competition for the Hydroxycut Max challenge! I was very impressed with the pills this morning and afternoon. I took the recommended 1 pill each time and I got no jitters at all, just a lot of awesome energy! I ate my clean breakfast and headed to the store and picked up the rest of my diet food. Got home, ate again, and headed off to the gym. Since I hadn’t been in a while I just wanted to do cardio. So I threw myself on the elliptical for a while, still had energy so switched to the stationary bike, and then still had energy so walked on the treadmill for a while as well. Woo, haven’t done that much cardio in forever! I feel good and worn out tonight! Weight training officially resumes tomorrow. Will probably do a 4 day split and will most likely start with back tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll be good about writing in here for once. Doing official weigh-ins every Monday morning. Making myself stay away from the scale the rest of the week!

So it’s been a while. A long while. I stopped working out at the end of August and life just went crazy! I stopped originally because I got mono and I was not allowed to work out for 6 weeks (lame!). I got over that, started working out for about a week, and then found out I was pregnant (not planned but still pretty cool). I was too worried about working and saving money and stuff that I didn’t work out. Things went alright and then sometime around the beginning of November I had a miscarriage. Needless to say, that fried my emotions and I continued to put off the gym.
So first, I decided I would get myself back in the game mentally which was actually a pretty cool decision and I really think it will help me not get burnt out on it this time. I started working on my diet again first. My first goal being to eat one totally clean meal a day, then once I get used to that do two, then three, etc etc. That is working out awesome! Instead of diving right into it, I’m doing it gradually and I’m finding that my body is actually starting to crave the good foods more than the other foods. So that is well on track.
Officially started back in the gym on Monday. Met up with Constance and did some legs. Did squats, high narrow leg press, leg extension machine, and lying leg curls. Followed up with 20 minutes of walking on the treadmill. Oh it’s been a long time and I am still pretty sore. The first couple days afterwards were SO SORE! But it’s good I hit the gym again on Wednesday to do 30 minutes of cardio. Going to go tomorrow and do some upper body and probably 30 of cardio. My main goal with that now is to try and go every other day and switch back and forth from upper body and lower body until my body gets used to weight training again and then I’ll actually switch to a good split.
I was scared to weigh myself but was surprised to find out that I actually did not gain as much weight as I thought I did. I hadn’t weighed myself since the summer when I was sitting at 140. I weighed myself Tuesday morning and am now sitting at 150. Not horrible considering I was guessing it was going to be more like 155-160. So my long term goal is to get myself back to 130. I’d like to do so by the Arnold so that gives me a few months which is easily doable. Wish me luck! I’m hopeful that this gradual way of getting back into it will work in a really good way!

3 people came up to me at the gym tonight and told me how awesome I look and made good comments about how much weight I’ve lost. I’m feeling pretty damn good right now

So, not only did Rich kick my ass in the gym tonight *upper body*, but then I came home and immediately jumped on my bike and took off on the bike path. I seriously kicked my own ass haha. Did lots of standing riding, pushed myself the entire time, no coasting down hills, and even when I didn’t think I could push myself any harder I kept embracing mind over matter and went even harder. It was AWESOME!! And what’s really good is every time I go, I go farther down the trail, and every time I get back home it’s taken me the same amount of time, yay! So I’m definitely picking up a good amount of speed each time Loving it! Just loving this whole experience!

So not only did I get up an hour early to go for my bike ride this morning.. but I even still went after I looked out my window and saw it was raining. I got soaked, but it was actually quite refreshing. Plus it was cool because all the little woodland animals were out and about hehe. So very proud of myself for still getting out there and biking and discovering that biking in the morning rain is actually a very cool experience.

So I just went on my first bike ride in ohh.. it’s been about a year. I have the jelly legs hehehe. I hauled ass as best I could for a good half hour. And it’s just downright nasty hot outside, thankfully there was a good wind, so I kept cool, and it was good for making it tougher to ride when I had to go against it. Good times The bike path behind my apartment complex is awesome. So once I get used to riding the path, I’m going to start throwing in some mountain biking too. Had to quit running again, bleh. My ankles have started giving me some issues. I kept trying to push through it, but the last time I ran it hurt so bad I threw up. So hopefully taking some time off and doing biking for a while will let me get back into it again. Gotta hit the gym tonight and do upper body. More later…

I posted this on my myspace, and knew I needed to put it on here too. Good stuff
“On days I’m making excuses for not going to the gym, I remind myself that after a workout, I’ve never said, “I wish I hadn’t done that.” Tonight, skip all the drama about how you “don’t feel like it.” Just go.”
Focus on the journey, not the destination!

Well as usual, my day off turned into insanity. I didn’t even have enough time to take care of everything that I wanted to today. But I rocked my final at school and majorly gave 200% effort on my legs at the gym tonight. Which made it really funny when I got on the treadmill afterwards. No way was I attempting running, had the jelly legs haha. So I just walked as quickly as possible for 40 minutes. I was so insanely busy today that I am now eating for only the second time today, yikes! Kind of a bad habit when I get too busy I do tend to forget to stop and eat. I’m working on that. Not much else to say, more later.
