"A year from now, I want to be leaner, and experience at least a 10% increase on my three major lifts. I also want to back to doing weighted pullups and increase my cardio, without sacrificing muscle."

My goals #2

June 11, 2008

2. I also want to tone my abs. Does anyone know any good toning tricks? I prefer easy solutions that can get me toned in 4 days.

Long term goals part 1:

Every few days I will share one of my long term goals with my readership at body space. All in all, there should be about 12 installments, plus maybe some bonus material for paid subscribers, like an interview with yours truly.

1. I want to be the Dick Cheney of bodybuilding: not the most competent, moral or successful man on the block, but completely feared by all. I want unpatriotic Americans like CNN’s Anderson Cooper to cower and tremble with each rep I pump out of tricep extension.

So, I hate high reps and I think they are basically useless (though I am open to hearing the other side of the argument). still, throwing in a day of girly circuit training, can actually be freaking exhausting. I did a circuit of every machine today 15 reps per circuit.

The weights I chose would have knocked me out last summer. Even though I have done very little high rep work the last few months, I was shocked after each set, how easy the set felt. there was very little soreness, joint pain, or even exhaustion.

i will try this again with heavier weights, but damn! it felt good to see my body perform so well. i have gained almost no weight this year, and furthermore, i have done no endurance work. because i have been going intense lately, and also biking for transportation a lot, i have been extremely sore all over my body, every day.
i kicked ass. feels good. enough said. will try this out with heavier weights!
