45# Thrusters, 50 reps

30 Pull-ups

Time: 9:32

I know this time does not reflect my abilities to perform this workout to my best. The 3 exercise stations were a very good distance apart from one another due to construction and reorganizing of gym equipment (which sucks now). The row machines were in the basement of the gym so we had to run upstairs go outside and across the street to the gymnasium were they had all the barbells/medballs set up for thrusters, then run across a parking lot to the pull-up bars to finish the workout. So I would say it added a good minute even minute and a half to the workout for most of us. I still had the best time out of the group but I still wasn’t impressed with my time. Guess that’s what happens when you take a week off and go out drinking with your marines. lol

Every Minute on the Minute for 15 Minutes:

3 x Squat Cleans  Men 175#, Women 95#

You can use the entire minute to complete the reps required, but the work must be done before the beginning of the next minute.  Each minute you are unable to complete the work a penalty round will be added.

After the first workout this definitely put the nail in the coffin for my legs. I was happy to have finished this one without any penalties though. Great style of workout and I plan to add this to my other lifts as well. Overall a great burn today and I’m glad to be back with the CF Affiliate at Torii Beach even though the new set up is kinda gay… its about the people and helping one another and it has definitely proved to recharge my motivation levels.

I’d like to thank my harem for sending me some motivation emails to get my ass up and going again. Thank you ladies(CG, Storm, FP, Nursnic, and Urbanmommy)… All of you are the best! FP, CG, and Nursnic… hope your having fun at the Arnold. Next time all of us are going and you are going to be my bunnies… that cool? lol Be pimpin like Hef… or would it be Glassman?(Crossfit founder)
