So, it’s amazing to think that I have actually stuck with this bodybuilding or rather "staying fit" concept long enough to create 100 entries. Looking back, I literally see all of my ups and downs throughout the past year or so since I have been on here. I have met a lot of good people who are willing to give some good advice. I’ve also met some who, for some odd reason, sought after my advice and oohhhh there were the weirdos!!!!
All in all it has been a really good experience! A few blogs ago…someone stated that I should set out some goals. My main problem, after thinking about that statement for a while, is that I am shooting for a goal that I, realistically, don’t have enough time to focus on.On the other hand, ironically, while shooting for that goal I have managed to become more physically fit than I was before; which was another one of my goals when I first started this shindig. So, as I move forward I think I will be satisfied with my goal of becoming more fit and add smaller goals here and there like getting up to or lifting a certain weight by the end of year or something of that nature.
Hmmm what else…I also have learned that supplements…although are very helpful are 1) An expensive habit, 2) Makes me have side effects that I really don’t like sometimes, and 3) Don’t work as well as a good diet. The safeset and only supplement that I will continue to use in the future is Whey protein; Others may come…but just like the ones of the past…they will, most likely, also go.
Last things:
Yesterdays Workout:
Swimming 16 laps
Todays Workout:
Ran to the gym and worked those legs baby!!!! I didn’t run back home because…well ya’ know…the legs were killin me!!!!
Until I write again…live today and dream about tommorow. Thanks everyone who has commented or given me advice!

This past weekend? I succumbed to the temptaion of having a little drink. Now, I can see why people who stay in the country tend to drink more…..because they are bored!!!! Like I usually am on the weekend. But, with all that being said…a good lesson was learned. In college, I would begin drinking on Thursday…on Friday’s after my one an only engineering class that ended at 9:00 I would start up again and party the rest of the weekend. On Monday, I would be in class at 8:00am bright and early….today I drank one night and was in the bed until 2:00 the next day!!!! In other words, my body said “Excuse me, we have been there, done that, and refuse to go back there…soooo we’re taking a nice long break today.” After I finally got up, I decided to do a chest workout.
As I come up on my 100th post…there is a lot I have to reflect on, which I post in that blog. In other news, I did a back workout during my lunch break ( I was to sleepy this morning to make it to the gym). Currently, I am feeling it too. Check out my pictures for some updates on my slow progress. Below is a front torso picture, I think some definition is coming along…but of course I am trying to get more than I have. Until I write again…don’t drink and lift!!!! LOL!!!!!

(3:00PM) While on my lunch break I walked home…turned on some Simple Plan and slipped in a shoulder workout!!!! I don’t know what it is…maybe I am still, somewhere in my mind, feeling guilty for all of my time off. Anyway, I did some shoulder presses, dumbell presses, lateral and front raises, shrugs with barbell and dumbells, and…..I forgot what the other exercise is called when you hold the barbell on your legs and raise it up to your chin.
No frills work out in 45 minutes…and Simple Plan took me all the way through the workout….it was great!
Peace out…till I write again.

(4:56AM) Yea, that’s right…I was up bright and early…hmmm must have been thinking about T.I. "Motivation". At about 5:15 I jogged over to the gym and then began my workout. Today was a leg day, it was a hot day.For some reason, the air in the gym was out of service. So, by the time I reached the gym I sweating like I had ran from Egypt to the United States!!!! Anyway, the workout commenced and so did more sweating. I pushed out some sets of sqauts, leg presses, calf raises, seated calf raises, deadlifts and hamstring curls and then? I was out for the count. After the workout? I ran on back to the house to get ready for work.
This is goal setting week….so you will probably see my goal charts change as the week goes on. As I figure out my current weight reps, I am going to set some goals to see if I can get there before my wedding. Hopefully, I will be "super sexy"….well not really that but more of super strong by the time my wedding comes. Peace out folks…
Until I write again…looking past barriers and strong beliefs is what makes a champion a champion….that’s an original quote.

(3:17PM) So….as my life continues to chart it’s course into the unfamiliar lands of the world and life, I often times find safety in what else??? Weightlifting! It is one thing that I can do the old "Relax, relate, release". This afternoon I did some cardio. I swam about 16 laps or so…emphasizing the idea of swimming tall and flexing the abs while swimming. Not much else for the day…but tommorow? Well that’s a new day.
Holla back folks.

(9:18AM)
Yesterday, I took the out some time to workout my back at home…a few T-bar rows, weighted pull-ups, rows and back flys. The mood after my workout? I felt good and I was sleepy too. After reading some of the suggestions from my last blog…I figured that it might be helpful to set some goals. Consciously, this method would remind and encourage me to stay consistent on the pre-planned accoplishments I would like to have…hmmm. Sub-consciously, it would bring out my super competitive nature. My only problem is that bodyspace requires you to put in how much you currently lift, and I rarely ever record that information. This week I’ll working on recording that info. Keep the criticisms coming folks…I kind of like it!

So…the future is not so scary after seeing part of our newest class of students come in today. After work, I felt guilty for not being so motivated to him the gym for the last few days. So, I hit the weights again when I got off. This time, I did a bicep workout that was what? Grueling…I don’t think I have ever sweated during a bicep workout….but today? I did! I think it means you’re pushing it to the limit when veins start to show up in your biceps and your shoulder and chest area…or at least that’s the thought. Hmmm…today is Saturday and I’m trying to finish up some house work so that I can go and get a workout on before the evening. Thanks for the info people, all points were well taken.
Peace!!

Yea, that’s what it was MOTIVATION that got me up at 5:00am this morning. At the gym by 5:23 and out by 6:20. Today, I have to be at work at 7:00 so I had to cut it short, but I will most likely follow up with a second routine this afternoon. This morning I did the all time favorites…….LEGS!!!! And uggghhh….I’m tired!
Aight folks, I gotta go and get ready the brilliant minds of today must orientate the brilliant minds of the future….A.K.A. College orientation day baby!!! Whew!!!!

"Round and round and round I go, where Mario stops…nobody knows!"
Yup, that’s what I have been feeling like, especially the last week or two, as I have been attempting to get my workouts on. At one minute, I’m motivated….then life kicks in suddenly and blocks my attempts to get to the gym!!! Yesterday, I workedf out at the house….just an ab workout…today I set the alarm for 5:30 got up at 7:16AM(Uggghhhh, I am suppose to be at work at 8:00AM). So, during my lunch break I swam in heats…increasing the speed as I did each lap.
So, here’s the goal people…I need your help. This Saturday, I will finally be all moved into my house. Also, I plan to hit some type of workout….I mean tough. My rationale is that if I get started this weekend, when I have nothing else really to do, I will be back in the spirit on Monday to hit the gym in the morning like I should.
So, throw me some suggestions on what I should do…single body part…a certain combination….a full body workout..Heavy or light?
Thanks folks and I will holla back at ya’ soon!
Until I write again…remember that accomplishments exist because of perseverance

(5:40AM) This morning I woke up at literally stood in my bedrooom and looked at the clock for, what felt like, 10 minutes….For some reason I was amazed by the red light piercing through the darkness. Yea….I was really sleepy. Anyhow, I made it over to the gym to get my workout on…WITHOUT MY IPOD!!! I managed through make it through some squats, extensions, curls, and calf raises. After that? I was caput! For some reason, I was really drained. As you can see my profile picture has changed to one of me acting silly in my apartment. I probably won’t be working out much this week in preperation for a bunch of things happening over the week and weekend.
Until I write again..do a few reps for me. Peace.

Whoa!!!!!This weekend has zoomed by..literally.So, I am currently taking to doc classes while working two jobs and ugghhh realized that I am crzy!!!! This weekend…I just barely sneaked in sometime for a bicep workout. Nothing was done this morning, because I had to prepare for some freaking meetings all day. Hopefully I will be able to get back in tommorow. Ohhh this week I am packing up my apartment and moving into a house and then going to Memphis and get my fiance’s stuff and move it back to Arkansas!!!! Man….it’s probably time for me to keep my clothes on for a while. Peace!

(5:35AM) This morning I got motivated from reading some blogs yesterday and made a deliberate effort to get my but to the gym. So, in the wee hours I commenced to a grueling leg workout. I must say…it was awesome….I am even seeing some veins in my thighs!!!!! Awwwwww yyyeeeaaaaaa!!!!!!! So that means that I am definetly on the way to get those tree trunks for legs. At about 6:30 or so…this guy, who is pretty huge…as in muscular huge comes into the weight room. Now, I have seen this guy before, like a couple of weeks or so ago, and now he was back again.
So, I think it’s just me but these kind of things just makes me go "hmmmmmmmmmmmmm". While this guy is in the gym, with his black tank top and P.E. class gym shorts he and basball cap pull so far down you can only see his eyes, he constantly looks at hisself in the mirror. Before he even begins to workout he begins to look at his self in the mirror, fanning his shirt up and down, pacing back and forth and then he will go and lift some weights and repeat the "look at myself" routine for another 5 minutes.
Okay, now the truth out of this. Man, I was kind of jealous at the size he had on him and the minimal workout he was doing!!! I mean he wasn’t even sweating!!!! So, eventually he came over by me and began to workout his shoulders, while I was working out my legs. So what I do??? Even though I was on the last set…..I did a couple of more!!!! It was kind of like what Xtremefitness commented about in his blog…."seeing is beleiving" and seeing him was like "See what hard work will do for you!";even if I wanted to believe that a lot of his build had to do with genetics, especially if he always worked out the way he was this morning.
Well, until I write again…"Motivation can be found anywhere, in anything, and sometimes anyone.

(6:35AM) So uummmmm yea…woke up jjuuusssttt a little late this morning! I made up for it by doing some cardio during my lunch break at work today and an ab routine, which turned out to be swell!!! Tommorow morning I think I will be putting in some work with the legs!!!!
~UPDATE ON THE BIRDS AND HAZING~
So, for the last few nights I haven’t heard the birds….so I am assuming that they are now OFFICIAL BIRDS of some sort. I just wanted to let everyone know…..because I know that you were concerned.

(5:47pm) Yea!!! Day off from the second job, but laters hours at the primary! So, I took about 45 minutes to do a shoulder workout this afternoon and uggghhhh man do they hurt. As stated before, I kinda wish my body was like the little He-Man action figures I had as a child and I could take the arms off whenever I wanted to. Well, maybe I don’t wish I could do that…anyhow the subject title is a challenge to everyone reading this entry…let me see you tell about a workout that you wish you could take off that part for a second, only until the pain stops, and then put it back on. (Please don’t take this for a literal sense people, just using my imagination here!) Best of luck to ya’!

Hmmm, it’s kind of weird Alli sounds like such a friendly name! So, I was in Wally world the other day and saw women scrambling around this gigantic display of this colorful medicine. I’m thinking to myself "What in the hell is on that stand?". Turns out it is the new "FDA approved" diet pill. Whatever works…I guess my only issue was that I was watching MSNBC and they were saying this pill had the least amount of side effects. One of them being losing control of your bowels…UUUgggggghhhhhhhh HELLO???? Did I hear that correctly? Then one of the doctors who sat on the board to approve the medicine supposedly stated that "America will need a lot of diapers." Okay, that’s to much! Hopefully, this will only occur to a few people and we won’t have a mass surge of adult diapers plastering our T.V. screens in the near future.(LOL)
But seriously, I am glad that there is something out there to give people some motivation and hopefully change their lives for the better. I just also hope that they understand that miracles can really only occur through belief in themselves.

(2:00PM) This afternoon, I was being really lazy. This morning I fixed some protein pancakes and went back to sleep. Got up watched T.V. and went back to sleep. Woke up, cleaned up the apartment and wanted to go back to sleep and then I said to myself "Get up and lift" followed by some other explicit motivating words. So I did….today was a chest day. Just like my last workout I started with 10 lbs more than I did lask week and increased by 20lbs as I went through the workout.
I did find out today that….when you really work your chest? Yea, althoug you think you can lift the weight your chest will start to shake and the weight will fall….on the floor or on you!!!! Lessons are all learned in time.
Tommorow??? I think it will be a leg day…if not an arm day…although I am really hoping it will be a leg day. I will check my log to see and you can check back later to see what I did!
Stay motivated folks!
Until I write again…remember that dreams are always possible.

(5:35AM) No people I am not one of the vain people that you may find out this website or in your local gym. But, this is a statement whether true or not I have to continually tell myself while in the gym. Yea, it may sound a little strange. However, this is just one of many ways, in which, I keep myself from being down about not making progress as fast I want and to also calm down my "Get big fast" syndrome that seems to come over me every once in a while.
So, I am not saying that I look better than anyone on this site. The fact of the matter is many people on here look much much better than me!!! This is just another mental strategy to reach my ultimate goal.
Speaking of goals, this morning I blasted through my leg workout with some awesome accomplishments! This morning I started my squats with 10 more than what I started last week and continued to go up from there. Leg extensions, curls, stiff leg lifts, lunges all comprised the morning killer workout! My legs are feeling good, I was sweating good and I finsihed the workout in good timing…all by 6:45!
Until I write again…..hubris balanced with ego = awesome character. Be safe in the gym folks!

This afternoon I did a workout in which I swam about 36 laps in about 15 minutes. It took me a while because I took longer breaks in between each set of 12. Tommorow is a new day…one, in which, I will be trying to get my legs on point!!!

(5:50AM) To get it out of the way yes I was hazed heavily before getting initiated into my fraternity. But, that is not the subject at hand today, it’s one a little more interesting. So, for the last few nights beginning at about 10:00pm on until about 6:00AM there has been some strange activitiy outside of my apartment window.
Wwwhooooo, swio swio swio, hoooocccckk hhhoooccckk hoooccckk (Repeat for several minutes, in different ranges for several hours…out must be done in groups of 2 or more).
One night (2:15AM) I woke up and told my fiance, "The birds are talking to much!". She rolled over and went right back to sleep. I, however, could not get past the LOUD noise for several minutes.
A few nights later she wakes up and says "Are they getting initiated?". Ohhh my gosh!!! I was not to sleepy to wake up and laugh at that one! It instantly reminded me of my long nights doing crazy stuff.
Why are these birds flying to the tree by window making this noise every night? Who knows what it is…I say they are getting hazed others will simply call in nature.
Ohh by the way…the an intense back workout was done this morning too. So all is well in the neighborhood.
Until I write again…If you look good, you feel good, and if you feel good you will do good!

This morning…hmmm…was interesting.
I went to bed at about 1:00am, that made for about 20 hours that I was up all yesterday. Then I woke up at 5:30 this morning, snooze the alarm for 5:45 and then went to the gym and made it there by 6:00. By 6:15 I was back at home and in the bed!(LOL!!) Funny but so true. Yesterday my mind said that recess was in session…today my body said that "We are still in session!". But, I feel really rested here at work and not sleepy, which is a plus!!

If you take a look at my progress chart, you will see a significant decline in squatting lbs. Reason: After taking some pointers from Moto286 and some others, a few lessons were learned.
1) Your legs do complex functions everyday that stabilize you and allow you to travel long distances. With that being said, the muscles are use to working pretty hard…they have been doing it for so many years it’s nothing for them. So, you have to do some exercise that stress the hell out of them.
2) Digging into the trenches(MOTO286). Leg exercises, to me, seem to require an exercise that makes them burn…almost from deep inside the muscle.
3) Instead of doing the half squat….like Lil’ John says ‘Get low!Get low!’. Squats are no joke at this point because it’s a longer way to the top!!!!!!
You try it and see!!!!!
Until I write again….always balance ambition with intuition.

Anyhow, the song is playing and keeping me awake as I type through this blog. Yesterday, hmmmm…what did I do? Ohhh lord, I’m so tired my mind seems to be going. Just kidding, I did arms yesterday and legs this morning. Tommorow? Don’t know if I will make it. The 12 hrs seems to be playing grim reaper on me for now. Whose says a little break doesn’t hurt? So, today I was watching T.V. wondering why am I gaining all of this strength and not seeing more improvements in my abs than I had in grad school? The thought came across my mind after reading Petefox blog. In the blog he had mentioned to someone about not having to have ab development at the moment, because it was not close to competition time and someone was trying to joke on him, I guess, for that. Anyhow it made me think of what activities I was doing while in school…..lots of running and lots of swimming….Now, I rarely do any of that….so that’s why I don’t have the development I want. So, now I am in the predicament of worrying about losing muscle for the development. Help me out folks…what have you done?

It has been some weeks seen I have had the opportunity to enjoy my favorite past time….swimming.But, I did today!!!!! I swam until my heart was content. Only 15 laps Jareuba and Diesel, not my normal 36+.Anyhow, that’s out of my system.
But here is what’s interesting to me….why is it when I tell people I swim….like laps and stuff….they are like “You swim?!?!?!?” Ugghhhh hello!!! Yes I do!! Sometime I think people are caught up to much into the hype of stereotypes….black people swim too and we didn’t just start after “Pride” came out.
Am I mad? No, I really have been over this since the first year people started to ask me that in 2003, I just still find it interesting even to this day. Until I write again…2 ears, 2 eyes, sometimes 4, and 1 mouth…you do the thinking on that. Peace.

(5:30AM) This morning I hit the gym a little early because I had other things to do before I went to work. So, I found out from the fitness cetner guy that the guy yesterday was hypoglaucemic? did not drink any water or eat and had a heart condition. Okay….so that’s that. The part that was interesting to me was that there were several huge, and I mean pretty big guys, who look as if they had been working out since they were 8 years old, working out with him. Could nobody help this man? Ohhh well, lessons are learned in time…hopefully the young man is better than yesterday.
In my world, I did a back routine today…still working on that mass….Diesel and Jareuba….I am trusting that your advice will hopefully get me to my goal soon. In other news, I found that I need to have 3,115 calories a day…just to maintain my weight. D*&$#!!!!!!! That means I have to eat even more to gain weight….hmmmm…this seems to be getting more expensive every go around.
Any suggestions for some high calorie things that are good for you?
Until I write again….remember to take rest days in between your workouts.

So, I did not get my workout on this morning because I was feeling like an old man at my second job. I mean back hurting, legs hurting, arms sore….enough already. Some say that pain is weakness leaving the body….I hope that it’s big muscle fibers conquering the small ones I have now!!!!!! I did a shoulder routine during my lunch break…which was pretty intense. Intense enough for me to wish I had arms like the little action figures I had as a child. Ya’ know the kind where you can take the arms off and then put them back on when you felt like it!!!!
I know this is random but, here is an awesome article http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/mohr105.htm.
Now, back to the regularly scheduled blog…..
Anyhow, to explain the nature of the title of this point. While leaving my office, I saw the fire truck and ambulance pull up and go into the gym. First thing I thought of “Somebody has tried to lift some heavyweights and they fell on them!”. Turns out some kid passed out while trying to lift weights, the problem? He didn’t eat or drink any water before or during his workout!!!!!!!
Until I write again….if you don’t take any other advice from this site…remember that eating properly and water are always no brainers!!!!!!!

(5:56AM) Following a new plan I did the arm workout. This time I really focused on form. Now, I don’t know if this was as effective as my other workouts…usually my arm can go down all the way after doing an arm workout; I guess that was mainly from doing so many reps.
This time, I lifted heavy weights with low reps….sweating like a lost soul in the desert I pushed on through the workout for about 50 minutes or so. The only problem was that I ran out of time and wasn’t able to do the ab workout. Next time, I think I will do those first.
Peace out.

That’s the status I am trying to get to." will actually write something on my wall or respond to a blog. Now, let the truth be told they may not be movie stars. But, they are real inspirations in several facets.Oh…let me make something clear…not a "I am a fanatic about you kind of way" but in a "That is where hard work will get me" kind of way.
So, I say all that to say…thanks folks for your kind comments and taking a moment out of your schedules to leave some comments for beginning people like me!
Until I write again…Don’t get caught in the hype…get caught up in the self-worth of bodybuilding!

(6:00AM) This morning I hit the gym and literally was exhausted from a bicep and tricep workout. Is this crazy or am I really suppose to be sweating that hard? Anyway it felt good afterwards and my arms were fat!!! Nice!!! The workout went something like this
No rest in between sets
Everything under here was done 3 times in a row
50lbs,40lbs,30lbs - X 15 reps
Skull Crushers ?lbs - 15 reps
Tricep Pull back 70lbs - 15 reps
Forearm curls 20lbs - 20 reps
Preacher curls 65 - 10 reps
At about 10 or so my stomach felt as if there were several thunderstorms ranting through me. Uggghhhh this does not feel good people! Was I hungry? No, I just eaten. Luckily, the storm passed and now it seems as if we have clear skies for the ride home!
Until I write again….while you’re on the diet for bodybuilding…be watchful of what you eat and when you eat!

(5:56AM) I’m looking at the clock in the gym wondering "Self?!?!?!?What in the hell are you doing and why are you not sleep?"… Yea…those type of thoughts in the morning do not help your workout! So, today I did some leg exercises…slowly but surely building up those oak trees. Today, I did high weight with fewer repetitions….I don’t know if it was the weight or just my mindset today; but I was sweating like I ran a marathon!!!!!! Tonight I won’t be going to the second job…just catch up on some much needed rest.
Until I write again…get your groove back before hitting the gym!!

Been there…raw eggs, supplements and less workouts. Most recently, I have understood a little bit better that raw eggs can and will make you sick, and 2)Supplements and more workouts is the actual equation for sucess…that’s if you must use them.

OK…for a few seconds I am going to play the blame game…. JareubaT and DieselDru….yea!!! This is your fault. So, yesterday everything was sore, legs, hamstrings,back,abs…..EVERYTHING!!! This morning when I got up…I figured that pain killers would help ease the pain so that I could get through my workout. Well, I took the tablets and proceeded to the gym for a "Chiseling chest" workout. My workout went pretty well although I didn’t have the opportunity to do all of the exercises I wanted to do. Today went something like this: Warmups Flyes 20 Bench Press (No Weight) 20 Sets Incline Bench 10 X 3 Incline Flys 10 X 3 Bench Press 10 X 1 Dumbell Press 10 X 2 Seated bench 10 X 3 Flys 15 X 3 Overhead something 10 X 3 (Whatever the exercise that works the bottom pecs) I wanted to do the decline bunch but 1) I ran out of time, 2) I was sweating my butt off which also meant that my chest was done with lifting weights. Tommorow? Those bodacious biceps, sensational shoulders and tenacious triceps! Until I write again…if you want to look like a bodybuilder…take advice from a bodybuilder…no matter how bad it hurts the next day!!!

That’s what was happening at 6:03am this morning. I started my workout with some light reps of lat pulls, back flyes and rows. Then? I added a super amount of weights and did 3 sets of supersets like so:
Pullups 10
Lat Pull 10
Back Fly 10
Row 10
By the time I left the gym? I was sweating! Which, of course, is always a good sign.
Tommorow? Chiseling chest day!….
Until I write again…balance advice with pertinent thought!

I think therefore I am an oak tree….so that may not be the literal meaning….but that’s what I was thinking earlier today while working out my legs! Oak trees people that’s the goal…for your legs to be like strong oaks!!!
Until I write again….peace.

What did that mean for me? Unfortuantely no gym workouts…however I got several small workouts this weekend.
This past week I presented my ideas at a conference on some theoretical models of student development in college. By being my first presentation…I was just a little nervous. But, when my evaluations came back I got excellent ratings from all 45 attendees! How awesome is that?!?!? For the rest of the weekend, since I didn’t have a gym to go to, I did ab and cardio exercise each day (Saturday and Sunday). I then did alot of work inside and outside of the house for my mom and uggghhhhh that was a darn good workout in itself.
On Sunday, the fiance came along with me back to the hometown and this morning there was no workout done. So, tommorow I will be back in the game….on the quest to be super sexy by my wedding time….if that is possible….whatever I think it is.
Peace, love and hair grease folks!!!!

Well, I am nothing near a king, but I am back in swing. So, the past few days were a little scary because something had snapped in my back and was hurting for awhile. Jareuba told me that it was just my body compressing and then thoughts such as "Is this why older people tend to get smaller as they get older, well I need to stop now!", and thoughts like "I hope like hell I haven’t messed up my back over some d$*% calf raises!!, I need to stay on the donkey lift!".
But, after some streching and swimming yesterday..all the back pain is gone. So, this morning I hit the gym to blast the biceps and triceps for about 45 minutes…yea I’m back in the game for a second!
Until I write again….be careful on those calf raises folks!

So,yesterday I was doing my standing calf raises and I felt some that…like snapped in my back or my spine. So, all yesterday I had the feeling that my back needed popping.I had my co-workers to step on my back, I did back pop routines the works. The results? Nothing, this morning my back continued to feel as if it needed to be popped so I tried the same thing again and no relief!!!
I didn’t go to the gym because I didn’t want to cause any undue stress on whatever it is that I am experiencing. If you got some suggestions on what this or what I should do…PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
Until I write again…be safe out there.

(6:03AM) The sweat was gone, the heart rate was up and the adrenaline was going. After performing some good quad and hamstring workouts….I moved on to the calves. While doing some standing calf raises, I felt something pop in my back. Immediately I thought "Sh*#!!! I done hurt something". At that moment I didn’t feel anything and still don’t as of now. Really it feels as if I just need to pop my back or something. Hopefully everything is good and I can continue to hit the gym again in the mawnin’.
Until I write again…

(7:45pm) This morning I did not clock into the gym like I was suppose to. Instead I slept in and decided to do some sort of workout later on in the day. So around lunch time I went swimming and then came home and try to do some bicep exercise, but that proved to be invaluable. So, the rest of the day was spent perusing the bodybuilding site looking at other guys who are where I want to be. This is called building up my motivation to hit the gym tough for the rest of the week.
Tommorow? Of course it will be a leg day of some sort a few sqauts some leg extensions and calf raises to do the trick.
Until I write again….be careful of some of the advice that people give on here…just cause they survived the strong potential of killing the lining of their stomachs with weird practices does not neccesarily mean that you should too!!!

Why do I ask this? Because eitheir I need to get some more motivation in my system or my family genes are not prepped for bodybuilding!!!! So, I need a loan for a while…just kidding!
This morning, I went to the gym and perform so "Busting" back workouts…and that’s exactly what it felt like afterwards, like my back was about to burst!!! But hey, that’s a good thing!!!!
School is winding down and my students are leaving for the summer…I wished them all a good summer and, I pray to God that they all return safely next semester.
Today, we had a scare in the city…some person called one of the local schools and threatened to perform a massacre like that of Virginia Tech!!! Okay….not funny!!!!!!!
Currently thinking about the week to come and whether or not I will have time to go and workout…..hmmmmmm, I’m trippin right? Yes I am. We’ll see…this man will continue to be at work always doing what he can while he can.
Until I write again….remember that tommorow is never promised so live and enjoy life as if you were dying! If that doesn’t get you going….then I don’t know what will.

Unfortuantely…well not really that unfortunate my wedding is on the 29th and not the 21st night of September….but that would have been so cool if it was!!!!
Anyhow, that has nothing to do with my workout for today on this Wet Wednesday in the city.
This morning biceps and triceps followed by an afternoon swim.
Dieseldru…I am working it with the heavy weights.
Also, thanks to the people who gave me comments about balling on a budget!
I think I will give some progress update soon…I don’t know about pictures cuz much really hasn’t changed!
Until I write again…remember that your imagination is your most valuable resource for accomplishing your goals.
