Well…I think for some yes…for others it is false hope. But, I guess you have to start somewhere right? I, personally do not consider my self to be a pruning person (i.e. you want see me talking smack about how huge I am and how you can come and get some or how much muscle mass I have or how much I can bench, press or curl). But today, I am looking around the site and see people just ecstatic about their accomplishments and talking mad game.
Nothing against them, but I just wonder how much attitude does it take? All comments are welcomed…the floor is now open…

Man,
Last week I did such heavy weight that I hurt something in my body that was killing people. I was doing some tricep kickback with 45’s and when I got home? Whenever I would take a deep breath my something in my back was hurting? Weird…but it stopped like the next day.
Anyhow, this week I am glad to get back to some not so heavy weight with more reps. The only problem is…this method will wear you out!!!! But, hey no pain no gain right? More updates soon. Peace!

Well, not just biceps but something along there. So, this week will end my two weeks of hitting it tough in the gym. Today, I will conclude the same way I started with an arms workout with low reps and heavy weights. This afternoon I will most likely take bike ride around the city to get in some cardio and enjoy this awesome weather. Then for the weekend? No workouts (2 days rest are much needed!)

Well, the Lord probably did not really say that. I am just interpreting this continuous soreness in my body as a sign that I might need some. Today was chest day and as usual I am trying to hit it pretty tough. For the last two weeks or so, I have been hitting so tough…that every time I come out the gym I am drenched in sweat.
Some of you maybe like ’so what?’….I am like ‘man i just worked the f#$* out!’. So, all is well in the world of dnsigma and weightlifting. Again, since I am not in school I am constantly looking across the internet to find out more into the lifestyle called bodybuilding.I keep finding some interesting articles and some interesting bodyspace profiles too. I’ll be glad to sure one and not the other with you at later times.
In the meantime, be safe, don’t do illegal drugs and happy lifting.

Well I changed my mind…I don’t really like the phrase ‘lavishing legs’ anyhow as you guessed it today was leg day
Squats
Front Squats
Dumbell Sqauts
Hamstring curls
Leg Extensions
Cardio: 4 mile back ride around Memphis.
Yea…I was bored…but Memphis scenery is awesome and it was a good time to kind of check out and get in some lightweight cardio.

Sorry people I am just taking a point of personal privilege on my blog. For years, people have talked about the disproportionate body. I livn my personal opinion, the media has created this craving for the awesome upper body.
The upper body has most of the ’show’ muscles that people see the most…the biceps, chest, shoulders and most imporantly the abs. I mean really who looks at your legs and are like wow he’s sexy…those thick legs and nice calves really turn me on!!! Probably no one. Hence the reason for the upper body and some body spacers upstage the concept of bodybuilding with the ultimate upper body show off.
If one is to peruse the site….you will find hundreds of profiles with people showing off their abs or just their necks or their chest and some pants or maybe no bottom shots what so ever. If you do have the chance to catch a lower body shot you, many times, will find pencil legs on top of this Hulk body. Now does this emphasize the goal of what is to be achieved here on bodyspace? I really can’t answer that questions; because that, inherently lies in the eye of the beholder (i.e. my goal may be totally different from yours).
As I continue this journey of ‘bodybuilding’ I learn more and more each day. Which supplements to sample, which to may be take more often, which to not take at all, different training styles, how hard to train, how often to train….well you get it.
If there is anything that I am certain about and my opinion to all of those out there who really want to achieve a healthy body and a good physique that you understand and implement the following:
When you feel good (Being healthy) you look good(The physical aspect). So, keeping true to this mantra, it is important to develop the total body. Stop feeding your bicpes and depriving your calves….you may not know it but most women laugh at ‘big body little leg people’ and that is definetly not cool!
So, peruse the site for a training system that incorporates a total body workout…for total health…not half health.

So, I am trying to see what my ideal weight should be to be classified within a certain weight class or have a round about physique such as some bodybuilding winners. So I am guessing that the poundage per inch ratio will help me in determining the ideal weight for my height. In other words if you are 5′9 and 215 and you look great; What weight would I need to be ideally to look the same if I am 6′1? So here I go,
I chose random bodybuilders to speculate from: Jason Williams (6′3 & 236lbs), & Timothy Corscadden (5′9 215lbs).
Per inch each person is approx. 3.15lbs/inch and 3.03lbs/inch respectively.
So, that would bring me to about 227lbs or 218lbs.
Now, these numbers are, of course, a little misleading because they do not take into account how this weight will be distributed throughout the body. These two gentlemen have some slightly different physiques and obviously genetics (i.e. one may have naturally huge calves where another may not). So, this number just gives me a round about to shoot for. Other considerations such as muscle density and a balance design of symmetry throughout the body must also be sought after to achieve this ‘ideal’ physique.

Whew…it felt good to get back in the gym today. So, what better way to get those hormones going by doing a good leg work out. Every year, at different times, I get fascinated with building up my legs. My wife loves to talk about how I have chicken legs…which I might…but I think they are okay for the size of my body. I don;’t believe that I am top heavy like a lot of people that I see into bodybuilding. But, being the student that I am…of course I am going to research this tonight and come back with some evidence to prove or disprove my point.
Anyhow…ATG Squats, slow leg extensions, hamstring curls, calf raises and donkey raises all kick started my mass building routine.
Holla!

So, for the people who have rode with me through the semester. You rode with me through my fasting period (Yes, I am Catholic), you rode with me through the stress of my students (I am at private school and it’s Catholic…so if you know anything…you know it’s a lot going on!),you also rode with me through the announcement of my wife being pregnant. So, in the words of Charles Dickens,it was the best of times and it was the worst of times. So how did I do? Well Miked512…after writing about 8,000 pages for a scientific publishing class and computing 500 pages (No I am actually serious) of the ANOVAS,ANCOVAS,Post-hoc F-Test,Neuman-Keuhls,Mannings Test,Power ratios,Homogeneity of variances, homoedacistiy, linearity, univariate analysis, significant and substantiative results….I finally finished my semester much better than I thought. Last semester I had a 3.96, this semester was much lower being about a 3.2. WHATEVER!!! I am just glad to be done and now? BACK TO THE GYM!!!!!!!!
So, for a few days I am officially checked out of school and back into the gym. I got a lot of frustration to take out on some weights…so watch out!!!! Best of luck to you people and thanks for your help and tuning in!

Most recently I have started on this workout plan outlined in his book entitled ‘The Power that moves muscle’. No this is not a review for the book….it’s my experience so far. At first, I would go to the gym and workout and see some growth and possibly be sore. But, now I am sweating before I leave the gym and definetly sore some days!!!! I think the book is good because it helps dummies like me set a plan for progress. Currently, I am just into week 2 and still hitting high reps, for the most part. But soon…soon my friend….I can get back up to the heavy weights….MY FAVORITE. So, we will see how this plan turns out. Is there anyone else out there that has been on this plan? I’ll be glad to know if it helped you.
Peace out!

So…school is officially out (At least for me) Thank the lord!!!! Now that summer time is around the corner…those who didn’t obtain that spring break body are on quest #2 the summer time sizzle. I am just speculating but I bet the sells of supplements, especially fat burners, are sky rocketing around about this time. Anything wrong with that? NO!!!! Everybody has to experience life in their own way….you live it and you learn from it.
Speaking of things that I have learned. Since I have went from making nickels to pennies..I have cut back a lot on my supplement purchases. Yea…I tried them…Superpump, NO Explode, Lipo,Hydroxycut…man the list goes on and on. Did they work? Uggghhh yeeeeaaa!!!! Was it worth the money? At the time it was…but now…I really don’t think so.
Today, I am using what I called the ‘bare minimums’ 1.BCAA’s,2.Protein and maybe some creatine every once in a while and a multivitamin. I am a little uncomfortable with the creatine because of the long term effects I read that it has on your body.
Anyhow, with these basic things…I am much stronger than I have been in the past. Of course I had to change my lifting plan and especially eating habits. But, after a while…all of these things become part of your ordinary lifestyle. So, for those of you who have time…give it a try…for those that want faster results give some other supplements a try.
Now, I would like to try SOME and definetly not ALL of the supplements that promise exponential energy, muscle growth and other things in a matter of days. But so far as using them on a monthly basis? I don’t think so.But, more power to those who can afford it…I’m not knocking ya’.
Just wanted to pass on some advice for those who may be new to the bodybuilding cyberspace. I hope this helps you on your journey. Peace out folks! Now…go lift!!!

Another reason why I stopped taking various supplements…this is just a crying shame…and I mean for companies to make stuff that does this to peopl!!!
* Weight-loss products linked to liver damage * Two supplements can still be sold WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The maker of the widely sold Hydroxycut weight-loss supplements is recalling 14 products after reports of liver damage and one death, U.S. health officials said on Friday. The Food and Drug Administration urged consumers to immediately stop using the recalled products, which are made by Iovate Health Sciences Inc and marketed for weight loss, boosting energy and other uses. "The FDA urges consumers to discontinue use of Hydroxycut products in order to avoid any undue risk. Adverse events are rare, but exist," said Dr. Linda Katz, interim chief medical officer in the FDA’s Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition. The agency has received 23 reports of liver problems ranging from jaundice to damage that required a liver transplant, Katz said. One person died. A message on the voice mail for Iovate Health Sciences in Ontario, Canada, announced the products were being recalled. Company officials could not be reached for further comment. Two products, Hydroxycut Cleanse and Hoodia, were not included in the recall, the FDA said. A list of the products is included in the FDA announcement here (Reporting by Lisa Richwine and Susan Heavey, Editing by Gerald E. McCormick and Steve Orlofsky)

So this is coming on the end of April and there are several updates I got to provide for my community of friends on bodyspace:
1. 1st year of doctoral school is killing me..but at least I will have a short break in about three weeks.
2. I slowed down on the bodybuilding to pick up a former athletic activity (See the video on my main page ‘Phi Beta Sigma Stepping’. My fraternity brothers wanted to participate in an ole’ skool stepshow competition. That will be over this weekend (THANK GOD!)
3. It’s in the 80’s in Memphis…that means it’s time to get outside workout and swimming outside!!!!
4. My wife is 3.2 months pregnant!!! I always knew bodybuilding contributed to the swagger of good sex!
So, I am slowly but surely getting my swagger back..now I just gotta make sure I stay on this surf and don’t fall off.
Happy lifting folks!

Yea, it sounds pretty gross. When I was in college, the first time, we used to do something called stepping in my fraternity. Not to brag, but we were pretty good…we literally we across the country from Philadelphia to Los Angeles and stepped in several contest and won thousands…yea like more than $10,000.So anyhow….all of these winnings did not come easily. We practiced every day like from 10pm to 2am everyday…we treated like a sport.
Anyhow, somedays…some of us would come back and be like did you have blood in your piss…and some of us would be like "yea"! This would be on days were we practiced really hard…
Fastforward about six years, and here I am today…haven’t stepped in about 7 years and have been into bodybuilding since then. These are two totally different lifestyles!!!!
Last practice and this one…I am revisiting this blood in urine, a condition known as hermautria?!?!?!? I think that’s right. Anyhow…just thougt I would share if you share the same experience from acivities that you participate in.
Peace out folks

Well, besides the normal shots of protein I have….this weekend I remembered the other reasons why I stop taking supplements. So, this really nice guy sent me some really nice products to test out, his name is Joe Plavik. I tested this drink mix called E2 Voltage and some more supplements callled 5-tetra by Epic Performance.
First I have to say that I am a complete dummy on the art of selectivity in which and when to use supplements. So, I taket eh 5-tetra per instructions and then consume the E2 a little later before my workouts this weekend. Overall, the products seemed to deliver, hopefully it wasn’t placebo effect, quite well. During the workouts I seemed to have more energy and pushed out just a couple of more reps than my normal. Today I even bust a plateu that I was at for a while!!!! So, I think that these products are great….But….yea…you know there had to be a but.
When I use to take supplements such as Hydroxycut and NO Explode and Size On, they all had weird side effects like making jittery for the rest of the day or gas or something weird like that. Ummmm….I don’t like side effects….so how would I get rid of them? Don’t take them!!!!
Right now I am so amped that I think I can go to the gym, like now, and hit a leg routine TOUGH!!!! I should not be this jittery right now.
Anyhow, lessons are learned in time….I now remember why I stop taking supplements…besides protein of course.
Please note that my side effects are most likely uncommon for most people, just look around the web and you will see the wonders some products have done for people. But as for me and my body, we will be on the protein only side! LOL!!!!!
Happy lifting folks!

It has almost been five years now since I started this weightlifting lifestyle. From the pictures, you can see that I have had some ups and many downs;overall, I have, at the least, just been able to maintain. Today,I’m off work(GO CATHOLICS SCHOOLS!!!) and was just sitting around thinking about some things…like things I wish I would have known when I started lifting weights…here are some for your amusement.
1. Supplements won’t make me bigger only the work I put into weightlifting with minor help from them will.
2. Gyms everywhere are full of idiots who are constantly showboating (Please see my blogs titled Perdon….gym etiquette). These idiots can cause you to lose focus.
3. Learning how to focus in on muscle groups is key for development.
4. To get big and literally be big….you have to eat big.
5. Cardio alone will not be your saving grace if you want to look big and be lean.
6. Soul food is not allowed in any bodybuilding diet! LOL!!!!
7. Going to the gym every single day is not necessarily a good thing and not necessarily a bad one. Carefully planning alternating routines is the key.
8. Go heavy or go home is the mantra only sometimes and not all the time.
9. How much you can bench press is not as important as how much you can squat. (In my personal opinion)
10. Bodybuilding is a lifestyle…not something you do for a month or a season but a lifetime.
If you have some others to add…I would love to hear your thoughts. Happy lifting folks!

So, I have come to the conclusion that:
1. I am definetly stronger than before
2. I have potential to look like a bodybuilder
3. I really don’t know how to diet well.
All of those conclusions, have lead me to look around the net for advice on tightening up my look. There is this one guy called swatdog here on bodyspace has the physique is about the weight that i am trying to maintain. But, he obviously has mastered this concept long time ago and has some kind of secret ancient knowledge that helps him to maintain so well. Anyhow, I look on the net and so that carb loading and delpleting is a huge key? However, I think my patience or my lack of attention, since my school is currently playing on tv and getting stomped by Missouri, is not allowing me to comprehend this very well.
Here is what I would like from you the reader…help please…any suggestions whether it be diet or exercise will be greatly appreciated.
Peace out folks!

Yea that’s me…every once in a while, I get these spurts of excitement about exercising and swimming in particular. Swimming is awesome because it’s easy on the joints and when you’re in the water you can just let your mind wander…it’s just fantastic!!! After a while, you’re breathing hard, you’ve gotten in a good cardio workout and had good time to just let go!!!! Today I think swam about a mile or so….after about 30 laps I really stop counting and was just be a swimming fool.
So, I’m still here folks still in the game on this quest that most people are still beating me at called bodybuilding. One day I’m gonna start trump some of you jokers…then maybe I can get on the front page of the site!!!!LOL!!! Sike…I really could care less about being on the front page.

(9:20AM) So, I know that I change my status a lot…like a whole lot. Some days I am excited about the gym and lifting and all other kinds of things…and then some days it’s like….Damn…do I have to do this?
Most recently school has kind of shut me down on the mental end and working has completed the same task on the physical end. Somewhere in between those two paradigms, the amount of time that I have to do things has just vanished!
So, if you see me changing here and there understand that it’s really school and quite possibly lent that is making me be so wishy washy…but no I don’t have a mental problem. LOL!!!!! Just a time management…I kind wish I was the Jeanie off of ‘I dream of Jeanie’ so that I could blink and have my homework done kinda of problem. LOL!!!!
Happy lifting folks. Keep posting pictures, blogs, workouts and other updates to help me stay motivated. Peace!

For millions across the world, this time of year is a special…yes my friends it’s lent. Man…and the fact that I am catholic does not make this situation any better. So,today is Friday which means that thing #2 meat won’t be eaten today. I already gave up what use to be my favorite past time back in the day….hard core liquor especially that one where the soldier is on guard until every bottle is opened…the one…the only…good only home state whiskey…Jack Daniels.
In other words, no harcore liquor may be a little beer but not even that. But dang…no meat!!! Man….I think all this lent stuff is about to, or maybe already have, make me go delirious. Peace out gotta find something to eat.

Imagine someone, in a dark place (Your kitchen or home gym or locker room)…carefully measuring an oz of this, a scoop of that, and a cup of this into a powdery concoction destined to make you Citius, Altius, Fortius!!!! Well, thats what I think of when I see people taking pictures with so many supplements that the human person in the photo barely has room to get in the picture or when I look at a profile and the supplement list is so long that it reads like an epic!
So, now I’m against supplements right?!?!!? Wrong!!! I whole heartedly agree with the use of supplements. I have used them myself in the past. But, as I take this constant journey called bodybuilding…I am constantly amazed at how much people rely on supplements to get them where they want to be. What makes me even more perplexed is how people are killing (in the, they are showing up looking way better) other men in bodybuilding contest with all of these supplements.
Have we really got to the point of where there is a small amount of hope for reality vs.the dream world. I mean…here is what I am thinking:
1. The main reason I have come to this conclusion is because I can’t afford all of those darn supplements.
2. Even if I could…what kind of affect would those supplements have on my body in the long run?
3.Consistently buying supplements to give you harder pumps, more vascularity, more strength, a larger penis, larger legs, larger neck, whiter teeth, bigger chest, bigger fingers…..is just crazy.
4. Do you feel as good about your achievements after using all of that? Do you feel good because of your image…or how it makes you feel on the inside?
5. If you were blind….would you still do what you are doing now with some assitance?
6. To be truthful…I’m a little jealous because I probably won’t ever be at the same status most bodybuilders are (Strength wise…screw the looks).
7. Will you still be taking these supplements when you are 50,60,70,80?
Things are better in moderation.
As of today, I’m not the bodybuilding chemist…you can tell from my looks and my profile. This is just some random thoughts..to be forever floating in cyberspace to hopefully remind people that not everyone was born to be a chemist…but they were born to be themselves.
NOTICE
People who use a lot of supplements…I am not calling you out…and this is not a personal attack, just my own thoughts.

Obviously we do… So today, I am doing some front squats on the rack machine supersetting them with some glute squats and the gym attendant comes to tell me that I cannot wear the pair of shorts that I got on again because they have rivets in them. So, for those who are like hugh?? You know when you but a pair of swimming shorts for like the beach they may have like those little metal circular things in them….yea…some of those. So, I am like"Okay…wow I didn’t know that." I’m pretty sure no body else did eitheir…anyhow..I’m off to the store to get some "gym certified" shorts..I wonder can she tell the weirdos with shirts that are too small, that those shirts may cause breathing or circulation problems…or people with the really tight shorts that it might stop you from having kids…Okay okay…I’ll leave it alone.

Yea, I’m up this morning blogging on bodyspace because I can’t make up my mind to hit the gym now….or later. It probably will be later.Anyhow, this morning I was thinking about how when I first began this journey I would have a new supplement almost every month in my apartment. I would faithfully take it…hoping that it would be the miracle drug I needed to make me stronger and faster. In some cases….it worked! In many others…it didn’t.
The truth is that I unfortunately relied to much on the drug and not my own will.So here we are about five years later and after several "Request friend" actions, reading blogs, reading pm’s on the internet and a personal economy that down turned about three years ago….I have a totally different change of mind.
Today, I am seeing great results with the basics of supplements mainly protein and a good multi-vitamin. Today, I rely on my own will power of getting to the gym and eating healthier than before. Although my results are not as fast as I would like for them to be….at least they have come more on my own accord and not because of chemical reaction of several supplements in my body.
Personal thoughts…now…it’s time to get do a little studying before going to work. Peace!

Sir, this is room has several names like "light workout", "ab workout", and / or "stretching"; but by no means is it the LOCKER ROOM. Sir, please do not come into this room while people are in here doing ab workouts and stretching…WITH ALL OF THEIR CLOTHES ON!!!!…and you come in and begin to change clothes. Also sir, why would you come here to change clothes with the men’s locker room is literally 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8…yea about 8 steps away from where you are standing????? Then, why would you change clothes in here and walk back to the steam room (Which is 4 steps away from the men’s locker room) and take your shirt off? Weirdo!!!!
Annndd oohhh, sir #2 can you not sit in the steam room with your underwear only on? You just came out of the gym with some shorts on.Also, can you please not walk around the locker room looking at your self in the mirror after you come directly out of the steam room and with your wet underwear on?!?!? Dude you are making me nervous and if you even come near me I think i’m going to put my own version of heat across your jaw!!!!

Okay..I just finished homework and was thinking about my day…I had to share this one with you all.
Excuse me sir!!! Please do not sit out in the hallway, where there are little kids walking around trying to go to swim practice and you have just come out of the steam room and insist on sitting on the bench in the hallway with your nutcutter spandex pants on. Excuse me do you have any kind of decency? Ohh and by the way sir, thanks for finally going in the locker room out of harms way (Which were my eyes and everyone else who saw you out there just chillin….playing with your cellphone). But sir, can not please put your gym bag down in front of the mirror that is directly in front of the entrance door to the locker room. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY CAN YOU NOT FREAKING GET NAKED AT THE DOOR SO AS SOON AS THE KIDS WALK IN THEY SEE THIS 250LB BLACK GUY STANDING IN THEIR FACE AND NAKED!!!!! All the kids want to do is change clothes, get the hell out of their, swim and go home!!! No peep show is necessary!! You must not know that ther are plenty of lockers, other areas in the locker room and ohhh showers for you to maybe do all of that!!! But I just thought of something…you gotta know cuz I have seen you in the gym several times before!!!!! PERV!!!!!!
Okay I’m going to bed now. PEACE!!!

Man…I have been working on my calves for like…..EVER!!! It seems as if they will never grow. Then I get even more upset when people in the gym with these huge calves and do like 10 reps of a 45lb plate and they are done!!! Man! I’m so jealous!
Anyhow, in other news…I have really been out of commission. Who told me that going back to school again was a good idea? I know…money did and my dum curiosity…I guess that’s why it killed the cat. Anyhow, haven’t been to gym as often, really really stressed with school I attend and the school I work. So, technically I am out of service. Stay up people…happy lifting!

Nothing on bodybuilding…just other reflections…this is the side that most of you all never get to see. This is a post from my personal blog.
Currently it is 5:48pm on chilly Monday with a temperature of 36 degrees outside. Today is January 19,2009. Currently listening to ‘Now behold the lamb’.
History is knowledge we use to regenerate ourselves, organize and formulate new knowledge for the future. History provides us with "road maps" to base our future off of. This past year, history has provided us with new information for future years to come. The lamb of God has always promised to protect his people….through struggles and strife…he has promised to never let them fail. In the glimpse of darkness, the Lord provides us with a light so bright that darkness, at times, does not even factor into our cognition. Tomorrow, our world will witness a tangible fruition of God’s holy work. Our country, ridden with the horrors of slavery and continued racism against people of color, will witness another accomplishment of God’s chosen people.
Unfortunately there are only a few who will understand the full totality of this event. Those that have been brought to the light shall see what it is worth and why it is good. Unfortunately others, will continue to hold onto their precious jewels and ideas and continue to be blinded their ignorance and vices of the world. It is only my hope and prayer that people will continue to look towards the sky….towards hope and see the goodness of the Lord. It may not all come as soon as we wish…but continued faith will keep that hope alive.
It is real, the story of how God takes care of his people. In the wake of recent tragedies such as the economy, war, and the emergence of a new cultural identity in America. We needed change, we wanted change. The relics of our trodden past have had their place.
Our ancestors dared to dream. Unfortunately some of their dreams were deffered. But we, not only as blacks, as American citizens pressed on and a leader of change emerged in response to that need.
Luke12:48 states"But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. "
We have requested, we have been given. For as much is required of him….even more is required of us.
Barack Obama the 44th president of "These yet to be United States".

Excuse me Mr."When I grow up I wanna be a personal trainer.".Please don’t do your friends a dis-service by having them go around the gym doing every single bicep and tricep workout their is in the book of bodybuilding and can you all leave the gym and take a break? I’ve been in here for an hour and you all were in I walked in and took my time to change clothes and were still there after I walked back to the locker room and took more time to sit in the sauna and then change clothes. Woooowwwwwww….so Mr.Personal trainer, who has been training different women in the gym (Can we say illegal?), can you please inform all of your buddies of the disadvantages of working out that long? Ohhh…probably not because you are encouraging bad behavior and form by grunting….. and talking to your friend on the smith machine….all while using bad form on some skull crushers!!!!
Not really a rant, although it sounds like it. I just feel bad for the poor souls! LOL!!!!

So….peace out! I’m going to go jump in the swimming pool to work on this whole looking good naked thing!!! LOL!!!!!
* Please be aware that the aforementioned statements have not been scientifically proven and are based solely on personal experiences of the man whose picture is attached to this blog. LOL!!!*

So after posting the article…the admin made a comment on the site. He made a reference saying that he didn’t know exactly what was going on. So, I sent him a clarification…and then silence seemed to have taken over the conversation.
For a reference click on my site..and then click on his site to view my response.

Or maybe they didn’t and it’s just me not understanding the rules correctly. So, let me first start off by saying that even though I may not have won the challenge…I could have possibly gotten close. I played by the rules and what did it get me? Nothing! Let me show you instead of telling you.
If you follow this link, you will see that the rules state the following:
Logistics For This Contest:
- All entrants must be 18 years old or older.
- There is a forum thread for this contest.
- If you have multiple accounts here on Bodybuilding.com, only one registration will be accepted.
- Required: Please post your 3-6 photos on your BodySpace profile in the “Progress Photos” section, labeled with “Model Search Entry Photo” (or similar) for easy identification.
- Required: Please also post your video via YouTube on your BodySpace profile in the “Videos Of Me” section, labeled with “Model Search Entry Photo” (or similar) for easy identification. See below for an example.
So, for a few days now as bodyspace announced winners I decided to check profiles. Not looking for goof ups, but just looking at the potential winners. As I looked I couldn’t find which pictures they were submitting for the contest, like I and many others did. Neither did I find videos….I thought something was weird then.
So then I sent the bodyspace admin a question and he sent me a response:

Yes, the people who didn’t follow the rules are out. In fact, all the preliminary rounds are now over, so we have our set of 30 semi-finalists already picked.
http://www.bodybuilding.com/ironman_…ch_winners.htm
Which means also that the voting is over (as of Jan. 2nd), and rounds #4 and 5 are the live rounds in L.A.
Thank you for participating - it was a great contest!

So, I was like ohhh okay…but why is that (Click here for the page) that none of the guys in Round 3 were nor removed for not following the rules?
Hey nothing against the people who got by without following the rules ( I really am not being sarcastic). It’s not your fault, it’s theirs. So, if I misunderstood something….let me know. Otherwise, even though this is not my site, I think bodyspace has failed it’s members in a small way.
Please don’t delete my account for this post…and people who may inadvertnely be involved in this…don’t send weird hate messages…you can send hate messages just not over the top.

Excuse me sir…please do not walk around in the gym with an under Armour shirt on that looks as if it is two sizes two small on you. Also, sir please do not wear the shortest of shorts(What we use to call nut cutters) and walk around with really bad posture(He seriously was forming a hump) and acts as if you are the biggest baddest person in the gym. Clearly I am not…however there are others in here that I believe can take you. Ohhhh and sir can you please not take you shirt off while in the gym, turn around so everyone can you see and then turn back around to put your other really small shirt on before you go outside in the cold with your shorts on!!!!!!!!!!!!
As some say here in the south…sir we are going to have to put you on pause!
Disclaimer: I do understand that shirtless is the norm in some gyms…but this is a college gym and it has rules and one of them that is clearly stated at the door where this guy took his shirt off says "You must wear a shirt at all times".
Darn it people!!!!!!

So, I know some of you all get on this site almost everyday and know about the contest that bodybuilding.com host in conjunction with other sites. Well, after doing some pre-liminary research…bodybuilding.com has violated some of their own stated rules for contest. But, before I get on my box let me do some more investigating.
By the way, these blogs are being written in the interest of the bodyspacer or person visiting bodybuilding.com that embodies a total transformation marked by natural and articulated progression. In other words for the ’Joe the plumbers’.Holla.

Excuse me ladies in the gym…I see you staring at me in the mirror…and by the way..thanks sending your friend over to ask if I was married..and thanks for the compliment…I really appreciate! Even though it was hit….it was nice to be complimented. So ladies, if you see a guy in the gym and you think he’s hot…let ‘em know! Then if he gets to crazy….there are plenty of other guys in the gym who are ready to release some of that testosterone on some mofo who won’t respect women! LOL!!!!
Happy lifting, happy new year everybody!

Every year a few things happen…we remember the old, those who have left us, life-changing event and for some reasons the history channel and discovery channel talks about how the world is going to end….aaannnnndddd people make new year’s resolutions. Every year, I get on here and reflect on what I will do in regards to bodybuilding this year. Every year, I never really make that goal. That’s sad…but won’t keep me from staying in the gym. Anyhow, I figure my goal this year will be to stay in the gym and be more consistent. If needs be..I will add more specific ones later. Peace out folks….welcome new bodyspacers and I am glad that yall are here for another year and another ride.

Excuse me sir there is a fully functional locker room in the back of this facility for you to change clothes in. Please do not come into the gym pull of your sweater,t-shirt,pants,socks, & shoes off and throw them on the floor by the door, leave them and then go and workout as if this was your personal gym. Are you kidding me dude? Are you mentally ill or simply no home training? Really…you would think that because you are in college you would have some higher level of thinking and know not to do this!

People I am weak when it comes to hollidays and food. I guess that’s why my progress in this bodybuilding thing has not been as remarkable as I have wanted it to be. Yesterday, sat and had a couple of drinks….alcoholic ones with my dad. Then munched on a southern favorite called Rotel dip. Today, partook in Jamaica’s finest Red Stripe and the plans for tomorrow are even worse. The man is on guard until I open the bottle…every barrell is different every bottle taste the same…what am I talking about you may ask??!?!!?!?!? Or you may not…..Anyhow it’s Tennessee’s finest!!!! Jack Daniels!!!!
Merry CHRISTmas people! and for all others happy hollidays!!!
