Perdon….Gym Etiquette #25

Wednesday, November 11th, 2009

Excuse me sir #1, please do not walk around the locker around as if you are looking for Waldo. Then as you can see, I just got out of the pool and YES I am sitting here looking at you because I think you are acting really suspicious. Also sir, please do not go and turn on the shower and then LEAVE THE LOCKER ROOM?!?!?!? WTH? R u weird or what?

Sir #2 & #3, I can see that you all are clearly fascinated with you bodies as you check yourselves in the mirror and each other in the locker room. But, excuse me I just got out of the shower and it is a little weird for you to stand behind me…since you have already been in here for about 10 minutes now putting on your clothes for the sauna??!!?!?!?(Shorts only). Can you all please do your business and move on? I think I am just being over paranoid. Now, I must agree that I maybe in the locker room and check myself out a little but checking out other people and being mesmerized by myself in the mirror for several minutes????Probably not! I guess I am not that enamored with myself? I dunno.

In other news, I haven’t ever been in the armed forces but my mother was an MP, my uncle fought in several wars and my good friend and his wife currently are in the army. To all of those, past and current, who have taken the time to protect the U.S., THANKS A MILLION!

No…this is not some new technique or revelation…it’s just a mark of my slow progress back into the gym.

Peek a boo…

Tuesday, November 3rd, 2009

Man, I have gotten so lazy that I didn’t even want to hit the gym today. Okay okay…so I have been out of the gym for about 2 weeks. To get a sense of what that feels like….imagine two months for most people and thats what it feels like.

Anyhow….life has happened alot over those two weeks especially my doc program.Today, I just eased back in the groove with some swimming…but I gotta see what tommorow will bring.

Positives

While "resting" my body actually showed more muscle development…I guess it finally had time to rest and rejuvenate? But, if you "rest" to long it will soon disappear back into oblivion…especially if your diet goes straight to cookies, chips, taco bell, captain d’s.burger kind, doritos, jolly ranchers, hot wings and the rest of the mess that I have been eating over these past two weeks.

Aight folks pray for me…I should be back soon.
