Kelloggs cereal really are great…

But the company itself is greater. This blog has nothing to do with bodybuilding…then maybe it does. Today, I indulged myself with more great food at the 50th anniversary of Kellogg’s here in the city. Why is Kellogg’s so wonderful because the money helped our family go a long way and huge steps. So, although Tony says that the Frosted flakes are GGGrrrreeeaaaattttt….I think the company as well is just as GGGRrrrreeeeeaaaaattttttt!!!!!!!!!

So, please continue to purchase Kellogg’s cereal.LOL!!! Peace out folks!

Body of doom #2

Thanks to the people who did respond to my blog about me having a body of doom. Yea, I probably am really tripping about this. But you know it is disappointing when you work at something really hard and then it’s like…ohhh that didn’t mean anything. Then you are like WTF???

One person asked how did I measure it? I used the thing found here:

It is suppose to be some type of electronic body fat monitor. Maybe I should try another method. Maybe I should just leave it alone?!?!?!!? I think I probably will take the later of the two!

Excuse me sir…. there are three power racks lined up here….right beside each other. Sir, I also see that you have your huge duffle bag with you and nicely printed workout log. Sir, please don’t ask me to work in on the power rack that I am on because I already have weights on mine and their is an empty right next to me!!!!! I know that you probably want to warm up on the weight that I have but since I am now on my 4 set….I will not be impressed by you! Ohh…also sir, please do not finally act as if you just realized their was an empty one next to me after I did not move….load it with the same weight and proceed to do a bunch of quick reps!!! Sir, again I am not impressed by your "glitz and glamour" workout!

 

Why do people in the gym feel as if they must impress or intimidate you? Man…sometimes I feel bad for people because I must have a face of weakness.However, sometimes I have to tell people don’t let the looks fool you!

So, you see this profile picture? Yea that’s above 17% body fat and that means I am not in the following categories: 1) Fit or 2) Athletic. Hmmm…am I being to vein or is it frustration. Man, I can’t get my body fat down for nothing. Even after a few weeks of training and some cardio…IT’s still not coming down! I’m trippin because I think I am falling into a paradoxical dilemma about all of this. So, you know what I think I will just enjoy this little break and re-think my game plan.
Hope ya’ have better luck than me at this!

1. Had someone to send me a weird Private message, on bodyspace, about having sex.

(I’m runnning)

2. Had someone to have a very weird screen name and even weirder (i.e. soft porn like) pictures on their bodyspace profile.

(I’m still going)

3. Seen someone on bodyspace who went from scrawny to brawny times 8 in a matter of a few months to a year?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

(Once again I am running)

4. Seen someone named dnsigma write stupid stuff on the site.

(I have stopped running. LOL!!!)

So Scooby1961 has been geniunely giving advice to bodybuilders for sometime now. I have, on a occasion, looked at his site as many others have and gained some valuable advice on this quest called bodybuilding. I have many reasons for trusting the advice of Scooby because his physique is pretty good. He’s not over doing it with extremely huge this and that. All of his advice is practical and easy to understand. So, anyway that’s much vouch for him.

Just the other day…you tube notified me that he posted a new video on concentration techniques. As I watched, I couldn’t help but to remember some of my blogs that I wrote about gym etiquette. In the video, Scooby validates my points exactly about why the madness I write about should not occur in the gym. Check it out when you get a chance.

So, last night while I was at the gym I had an epiphany. I realized that I had to issue excuse forms to the crazy people in the gym. I may be wrong,but I think it’s a generational thing that people stay in the gym for about 2 to 3 hours playing,talking, checking their cell phone. Because yesterday I went into the gym at 8:00pm. At that time, there were several people around the gym. At 9:20pm I left the gym, sweating, exhausted the works. It was at this time that the people I saw at 8:00pm were still in the gym, not sweating, still playing,still checking their cell phone and playing around with each other. So, mentally I issued them excuse forms for not properly utilizing the gym in the manner for which is was designed for.

Does this solve my complex of being disturbed by nonsense in the gym? Probably not…but it is another hurdle that I have gotten over.

 

Man…sometime I feel like I am whining out loud…but then I think…some of you all are thinking the same exact thing! Then? I feel better. Happy lifting and don’t forget to vote for me!!!!!!

Excuse me guys in the gym…if there is a lady working out with some tights on that are so tight that you can see her veins, don’t sit right behing her as she is on the lower back apparatus and watch her go up and down! I mean really people…are you really that young?!?!?!?

Excuse me basketball people….please don’t come over from the basketball court after playing in your T-shirts that you made..that look like some sort of cheerleading shirts(i.e. there are no bottoms to the shirts and they could be called tanktop smocks because I see your entire upper body and just a hint of fabric!!!!) and then come to look and sit beside me and begin to lift the same amount of weight that I lift so that I can see you. Sir, I am not impressed nor intimidated by your 110lb frame, in which, I can see more bones than muscle. Also, by lifting one to two reps of what I am doing is not equivalent to the several sets I performed BEFORE YOU GOT HERE!!!!!

UGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH some people in the gym are just out of control!

Tattoo’s and muscle

Man, I would do alot to have a physique such as the guy here Tim Corscadden.Now, before I begin let me just say that I absolutely llooovvveeeee tattoos. If I knew that I wouldn’t suffer from the reprecussions of having them all across my arm and body…I would have more than the one that I have. On anothe note, I wonder if tattoos help enhance the overall appearance of body builders. If you look on this site, some people looked really ripped.But then there are some, in which, you can see their physique but there is so much ink on their abs,arms,legs,and back that you can’t see the definition in the same manner as you would on person who is not. I don’t want to post examples but if you check the main page of bodyspace on any given day you will find plenty. So, what do you think?

On another note….can somebody…in good faith tell me that if I have small calves that I can seriously get calves this size? Because I have been working on mine for a long time buddy…. Peace out folks!!!

Yea, yesterday I got in the gym because I have been missing out and did some interval running. You know a few minutes at like 10 miles then some at 2 miles then some at 6 then 10 then 5 then….well you get the point. I did this at different incline rates so that I could trick my body. Whew!!!! I was tired….on the road to recovery.Peace out!

Last week, I was really busy pulling about 12 to 14 hours each day including into the weekend. So, this week I have more lee way in my job to leave when I feel like to catch up and not over work myself. So, what do I do? Go to the gym……….twice each day!!!!! Now at first, I thought this was madness….but for one week it’s actually okay. I don’t know if I would do this all the time…but it’s nice to do about two weeks of work out all in one day. Truthfully, I don’t think this is a good training method…but if I did this for a year I probably would be looking faaaaannnnnnnttttastic!!!!!!!!! But, I won’t (LOL!!!!!!!) So, that’s that on that I went to the gym and got me some twice a day this week….now it’s the weekend and it’s time to do my homework and course projects…peace out folks!

Excuse me gang of guys in the gym who came to talk and play! Please don’t do the following while in the gym:

  1. Talk LIKE THIS ALL THE TIME IN THE GYM WHILE OTHER PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO WORK OUT.
  2. Tell jokes the entire time you are in the gym and laughing and playing around in the gym.
  3. When it is like 6 of you all, please don’t crowd around three or more benches and sit on them while you all take turns with the 20 lb dumbells doing chest presses.
  4. Excuse me sir, can you not stand directly in front of the weights and then look at me as if I am crazy when I say excuse me?!?!?!
  5. Ohh  and you sir, can you not sit on the dumbells? Some people will be actually using those for lifting not sitting.

Luckily, I had my Ipod to deter some of this nuisance and I was on my way out as they were getting started. People, don’t tell me that I am the only one to see madness such as this?!?!?!?!??! This is crazy!!!!
