Anybody who thinks they have good striations…please come here and comment
So, I have been in this arena known as bodybuilding for a while. However, out of all of my gaines I notcied that I still don’t have the same look as many others who have been working out the same amount of time or less than me.Why? Because it seems as if they have some super striations!!!In their legs, chest, arms….everywhere…And I sit here and hit the gym and think mannn…..I WANT SOME TOO!!!!! So, I am on a quest to achieve the striations of all striations. The only problem is that I am not exactly sure on how to get there. Uggghhh help please!

Cuts has next to nothing to do with training. Its all diet and cardio.
We dont stay cut year round, neither do pros. Honestly you wouldnt recongize many of them in the offseason, Okay maybe Jay Cutler…lol….
I ran into Phil Heath last year and he was F-A-T. Its funny FLEX had an article on how he cleaned bulked…lol…he added 20lean pounds for sure and then 60 pounds of fat on top of it. Not an insult as he did what he had to and when he leaned up he kicked ass!
But until he came up and said Hi I didnt know it was him.
Same for Trey Brewster he got to 355lbs this year. He competes around 260-ish…He was just massively big and fat at the Arnold this spring.
So dont feel bad, bodybuilders only get cut once or twice a year. Some guys stay lean year round but they dont make major size changes (shawn ray Dex Jackson, Lee Labrada), and that is fine.
Some do model work too and dont need to be 270 on stage. In fact it would hurt their carear.
Depends what your goals are.
Jay Cutler is the only man I know who goes over 300 and still has abs, even ROnnie couldnt do that….But Jay is also the best in the world.
Dont compare yourself agaisnt him. It would be like comparing your basketball skills against Michael Jordon.
Best of luck with your goals.

It’s all about great cardio, diet and muscle maturity. The better the diet and cardio the better the striations.

I agree about the diet, cardio and muscle maturity and that all sounds good but don’t forget about learning your body everything that works for me want work for you. What I like to do is moniter my body I might eat something like pasta or fried rice and consume my usual gallon of water and when I wake up I look harder striated and fuller so when its time to diet for a show I make sure I use those foods in my diet same thing with cardio 20-30 min full blast is all I need 2 times a week it works for me because I have a high metabolism but I dial in a 3%-4% every show. I’m 39 years old been competing since 05. I have 3 1st place and overall titles and I’ll be 40 in Dec and I can’t stop now
