You asked about abs and I said….

Receently, I have been really tripping about hitting the gym like I am suppose to. I figure this would happen as I have taken on some extra loads of things to do. But anyhow, after getting back to bodyspace I saw that I had some new friends and asked me how did I get my abs to look that way. Well, after just a few years of asking the same questions to others and doing some of my own trial an error here is what I have concluded:

1. Gotta eat smaller, more healthier meals throughout the day.

2. Suck up good amounts of protein.

3. When exercising keep your stomach held in a bit and use it to control your body while exercising other body parts.

4. Do burn out sets of ab exercises and it sometimes better to do them at the beginning of your workout, when you have more energy. A suggested format is Upper,Lower and the side abdominal workouts.

5. Lastly, one trick I have justĀ  realized (taken from bodybuilders and the armed forces) is that you should stand, at all times, when you shoulders back. This will automically make your chest pop more and you will also see your abdominals a lot better. At least I do. I hope this helps some folks….happy bodybuilding.

Friday, June 13th, 2008

The other day, like Tuesday, I did a leg workout where I pre-exhausted my legs by doing some leg extensions. Then I went over to do some deeeeeeepppp leg squats. I then went on to do some calf exercises too. Well, that was Tuesday and today is Friday and I can barely walk…In a way it’s good and in another way…I am really wishing I had a wheelchair and this is no joke!!!

Well, actually I can..but it hurts. For a while now, I have been doing shoulder exercises and the side raises,at first hurts a muscle that feels as if it is deep into my shoulder. Then after a few warm-up sets…it stops…But then, when I am not even working out my shoulders it hurts again.Somebody please tell me what I should be doing. i have layed off of doing shoulder exercises for some weeks now. Of course, I still do the other exercises, swimming is included in that…and it has not stopped. Does anyone have some direct solutions? Thanks for the help!!!
