Question on vascularity,Haladrol(Gaspari Nutrition Version),diurectics?

Yesterday, I made my way to the gym and did about 30 minutes of cardio. I did various speeds of running at different inclines at a medium (6.0 mph / 0 incline) - slow (3.0 mph / 11 incline) - Fast (9.5 mph / 4 incline); each of these were done at .5 mile increments.

Afterwards, I went over and did a shoulder workout that was pretty good. I am currently trying to work on breaking plateus that I have by doing heavier weights and smaller sets. Additionally, I am now decreasining the rest time in between sets. It seems to be working well because throughout my workouts I am now sweating like crazy!!!! So, hopefully I will see some results soon!

 Bodybuidlers!!!! I got questions!!!

1.Has anyone taken Haladrol? What does it do exactly and do you recommend it for strength gains?

2. A few days ago i wrote about this bodybuilder in the gym who performed minimal activity, but seemed to be huge. Well, he is huge but not like larger than life huge. Truthfully, I misundestood his vascurality for size. But, vascularity is an impressive thing. Do you increase vascularity through cardio? Or is it a mix of weights and cardio?

3. Lastly….I have been seeing things about diuretics….are these safe?

Thanks folks….peace out!!!

So, yesterday…I did not make it to the gym gym but the home gym….during my lunch break. So, I took advantage of the time and did a quick chest workout that went something like this…

These were all drop sets

Decline Bench - 3 sets

Incline Bench - 3 sets

Bench - 3 sets

* Diamond push-ups were done after each set until failure.

I should have ran yesterday….but I didn’t….today I will have to most definetly make up for it.

Possible Injury has a positive effect…

So, once again folks I need some help on this whole bodybuilding thing. For some time now, when I do dumbell presses or deltoid exercises, I have felt this annoying pain in the middle of my shoulder mid-way through the movement. Most recently, I have begain to notice it just a little bit more. I think that it may be a rotator cuff injury? But I am only guessing. If anyone knows what this might be and what I can do to help it…I would love the comments.

In other news, I am really trying to make sure these wheels are together for the summer. Recntly, I have just gotten kind of bothered by these guys at the gym who are huge on top and small at the bottom. I think that I somehow get a phobia that I look the same way. So, anyway I have started this workout that I hope to kill my legs. One of the biggest parts is the calf muscle exercises where after each main set I do a burn out set of calf raises. Additionally I have started doing some deep squats which, by the way, are kiiilllliiinnnnnn!!!!!!!!!

So that’s it for me….I’m still hitting the gym every once in a while….still upset about gas prices making me stay at home more…..still using my little gym set to supplement my missed workouts at the gym.

Peace out people!!!!

($3.67 / Gallon) @ 15 mpg = $4.00 to hit the gym, plus membership fees…

Well, that is not completly true. I have been hitting the gym at very sporadic times. Just not as much as usual. The gas prices are killing me!!! I, fortunately and unfortunately, have an SUV that I try not to drive as much as possible. So, for now it has been mostly the home gym that I have been using.

On the other hand, the few times at the gym have been some tough times. While at the gym, I try to make the most of the time that I have since I don’t ever know when I will be back. So, I have been making some personal records as you may see from my progress charts.

But, I will say that one of the most inspirational things for me…even if I don’t make it to the gym is to see other people progression; especially those that I have known for a while here on bodyspace.

So, friends and hopefully even new friends keep up the good work. Lord knows I will really need it this fall as I balance work, try to have a normal life, workout and being a doctoral student. My gosh…just writing that get’s me to thinking "What have I gotten myself into?"

Anyhow, peace out people! Stay fit and stay well!!!!
