Well, I guess I should say me and my city. So, as some of you know. It is hard for me to "eat clean" and have "no sugar" and suck down supplement after supplement. First of all, i really don’t like supplements and my biggest problem (YES IT IS A PROBLEM) is that I love soul food!!!!
I mean the other day I was eating Pinto beans with a little sugar, some baked chicken, greens and cornbread for dinner. Now, that is a Memphis meal!!! And that is also my problem…I am begging help help help me!!!!!

So, I plan on making it to the gym today. At least, that is the plan. I’m going because I feel, strangely enough, compelled to do something so that I can write it on my blog. Today, I felt like writing something again about the "Top Profiles" spot. But, it seems as if people like to see the same people, all the time, change their profile pics. I guess it’s a form of amusement and motivation for them. So, as many things in life, I’ll leave that one alone.
So, back to me. Yea, I plan on hitting the gym today. On saturday I went and did some lifting. However, I am now getting to the point where I want to leave the gym sore. You know like the kind of soreness and pain to tell yourself….I have really worked out today! But, I can’t do that by myself. My partner has slacked off some because of his working all the time trying to get ready for his upcoming wedding. So, for now I am alone again. Whatever, I’ll still be in the gym…no doubt.

Man today…I did make it to the gym for some swimming and ab work. But I really have to admint that I took me 1.5 hours to convince myself to go. This is terrible. Believe it or not…I am really lazy. I think that is why I have not made as much progess as many people, who have lifted around the same amount of time that I have, have on this site. Whatever the case…I really have to get it together. For those who have been in contact with me over this journey called bodybuilding. You know that there have been periods when I have completly forgot what a gym was.Why do I do this? I guess it’s all the "life" that’s going on outside of the gym that gets me caught up.
Fortunately, spring is here.!! Now I can go outside and run and play, yes like a little kid, as I usually do during the summer time. In the past, this has kept me in some tip top shape. What shall the future bring for the "Transformer in training"? Stay tuned for more info!
Happy weightlifitng folks.

This morning I got up at about 4:45 and drove off to the gym to do a back workout. Yesterday, I hit the gym late for my favorite of them all….legs! I don’t know if I am getting any stronger but I did 3 sets of 10 reps on this standing squat like machine the highest poundage was 270 lbs for 10 reps. I then got on the leg press and did the same…the highest poundage their was 430 for 10.
Progress? I think I am gaining some. Peace out!

Okay okay okay…let me get on my soapbox for just a minute. I think the bodyspace site is excellent. I also know that I am not the mastermind behind this site and cannot control what happens here. However, I think there should be probably be a section called.."The Inspirtation" section of pictures of people who have done some amazing work with their bodies over the years. My only issue with some of the people who have top profiles is that they are so inundated with questions and comments that they can’t possibly share valuable information with people on the site. Many times it seems as if they just ignore you, they are selling something, or they just send you like a general response.
Is it their fault? No not necessarily, but it does create some frustration sometime for people like me who really want to know something besides "What are you taking?" So, if I was to add my 2 cents. The front page should do more highlighting of progress that people are making on a daily basis. To me, it seems to keep my goals more tangible and realistic.
Then I would also like to see like an inspiration section. Here bodyspace admin can place the pictures and stats of users in viewing gallery. It could be kind of like a "web award". The people could be intereveiwed on the same format of "Transformation of the week". Then they can be immortalized in a different section of the site and the common folk like me can have a chance of being a superstar and being even more motivated to gain that award.
It’s just my two cents…please feel free to attack me…offer suggestions / comments / what have you.
Have a good workout folks!
By the way, this blog is being intentionally re-posted to gain more feedback. The more feedback, the better my case to the admins will be. Thanks folks!

So, I have not been lost from the gym. However, I can’t say the same for me on bodyspace. For the last week or so I have been on this cardio craze. Everyday, cardio cardio cardio. I’m going to hit the weights again beginning next week. I just felt like I needed this to get my stamina back up. Although the weights are keeping my physical appearances nice and neat. My insides,at least to me, where not feeling as well. Peace out folks!
