I have been back to the gym for the last 2 weeks after a 6 month lay off. I optioned not to have surgury on my shoulder and think I made a wise decision. The pain seems to have gone away now with the rest. I will just have to take it easy to make sure it doesnt come back. New goal is to get back to where I was last year at this time.

I just got back from the doctor, and he told me I have a torn labrum after reading my MRI. He wants me to do Pyhsical Theropy for 3 weeks and then if it does not get better he will recomend surgury. This will put an end to my year long planning of competing on May 5th. Hopefully it will heal in time to compete in October.
Has anyone out there ever been diagnosed with Type 3 SLAP Lesion? If so, how did it heal, how long were you out?
I need someone to give me some posotive news, before I go into deep depresion. Or go back to my previous lifestyle of eating In & Out Burger and Bud Lights for dinner.

I think the best motivation you can recieve is when you recieve a compliment about your size at the gym.
Today, I had two youngsters ask me how long I have been working out and how I got my Traps where they are. They asked towards the begining of my workout which got me motivated. From that point until my last Rep, I was pumped.
Morale of the story, if you see someone working their ass off stop and let them know its paying off. One quick posotive comment can fuel a workout. That doesnt mean have a 5 minute conversation, just something like "you look ripped" or "you look like you have put on some size". Anything Posotive!!

Just got back from the doctors after they made me wait 2 hours to see them for 2 minutes.
She told me I probably have bursitas and gave me a cortizone shot in my shoulder. She told me to wait to workout until Monday. THat sucks, but if have to wait 2 days to heal I guess its OK.

Well, this week I have been on vacation. My plan was to hit it Hard this week at the gym. I have not been able to go all out as planned due to a nagging shoulder injury that occurs everytime I start making gains. Just called the doc and scheduled an apt for today at 3:10.
