Need some help. I have a bad right knee( see the pics) I’m really limited on what can be done to build it up. So any recommendation fro what I might try. Deep squats are imposable, left leg is no trouble but currently there is about 1 1/2 inches difference in size. Would like to balance them out but not having much luck. So any tips???

I’ve been on this stuff for 3 weeks, its the best NO that I have ever tried. I’m usually not to receptive to the NO booster, but for me this stuff really works. Its a little higher than some other stuff, but for me it has been well worth it. I currently take 1 scoop of it and 1 Hydroxy Hardcore cap before my workout. Nice steady flow of energy with no jitters or a crash afterwards. Has anyone else tried it??

Update on my new routine. 2 weeks in and my motivation is staying high. May have to look into something to help me sleep a little more sound. I’ve been waking up a couple of times during the night. I gained 2.4lbs, and I’m really not tryng to increase my calories too much only about 500 per day. Still trying to get rid of some of the AB fat. I can see a little change, but I’m getting really good workouts since starting on th MRI Black powder. Only time will tell how effective it is. I’ll be taking updated pics in 2 weeks, I try to take pics each month to track my progress. Still trying to find a way to gain some size in my bad leg, I’ll post some pics of it and maybe someone can give me some tips. Its really lagging and is deffinantly making things look strange.
So as usual all advice is welcome.

Finally started my new routine from10/15( Monday).
Different supplement stack and a totally new routine. So we will see how my body will react to this. Right now my main concern is over training. I’m trying to watch that because that is critical at my age, still trying to lose about 5lbs of AB fat, but I want to replace it with muscle, so I’m really watching the diet. Trying to stay low carb and high protein and see how that works.
So until the next update.
Later.

I’ve been swamped at work so no chance to update. I peaked out at 179.5 lbs, but lost some definition in my abs.
So I’m going to try and get back to 175 lbs, so I’m going to change my rep range and cut some calories to try and cut a little for the next month. Then when I get back from Florida its time to get ramp up a gain.

Well today was my 3rd weigh, in for trying to gain some weight, My weight is up to 178.6. So now I have gained 5.7 lbs, which averages out to 1.9 lbs per week. Trying to fight off a stomach virus and a cold this week, hopefully I can get through it without missing any workouts.7 more weeks of this cycle, still trying to decide wether to do the 10 weeks of gaining or maybe do the 4 weeks up and then 2 weeks down then 4 more weeks up on my weight, trying to keep my body guessing what is next.
Starting to feel lethargic, may be overtraining somewhat, if I can make it 1 more week on this cycle I’m going to try a different rotation on my workouts to try and keep my energy up. I have upped my preworkout supplement to try and help, but this is just a quick fix, need a long term solution. So changing routine should correct that.
Stress level at work is increasing so there is always some obstacle to over come to improve, so trying to keep that motivation positive.

Well I’m 2 weeks into trying to gain some weight. I have gained 3.4 lbs, that averages out at 1.7lbs over week. My goal is to gain 1.5lbs per week over a 10 week period. I’m keeping my diet very clean and limit most of my carb intake no later than 3:00. After that I try to keep the carbs extremely low. So hopefully I can minimize the fat increase and get primarily muscle.
Still haven’t had a change to get a body fat %. So I’m watching in the mirror for changes in the wrong places. Still can’t decide which tools to get to monitor BF%.
Any comments or pointer would be appreceated.

Well I decided to stop my cutting for a 6-pack, I feellike I’m getting to small. My weight was down to 172.9.
So as of 8/1 I’m going to try to do a 10 week cycle, I’ve got some new supplements and changed up my routine. So now only time will tel.
I have been on the new routine and eating like a horse, ( I’m an extremely hard gainer ) but I had my 1 week weigh in today. 174.8 lbs, so I’ve gained 1.9 lbs, its probably just my body adjusting from 2000 calories daily to 3600 calories daily, but its a start.
I would like to make some friends on here to help with advice. Being middle aged, I need to train a little different than the young guys, so any advice is welcome.
Next update in a week.

Just wanted to get the blog started. Not sure what to write but I’ll learn with time.
Getting ready to try and add some mass, heading to dr. to get my shoulder checked and the cleared to start going heavy.( for me anyway )Ha-Ha
I’ll try to keep things updated, and I’m always welcome to comments and advice. Trying to improve my body at 47, not a midlife crisis, just wanting to be healthy.
Looking to make some friends on here to share information with and to learn how to grow.
Until the next time.
