Time to start cutting

Well I"m starting a cleanse cycle, so I’m going to go ahead and start a cut cycle as well. Target is to cut 5-6% BF, which is around 9-10lbs.

Main target area of course is the midsection, a little harder for guys my age, but it can be done. Several guys on here are my inspiration, if they can, I Know that I can.

So I’m going to try a 13 week cut routine and a modified cut diet.  Any tips and advice is definantly welcome.

Clean diet and adding VPX Meltdown for some energy will be what I"m going to use to get the BF off.

nice! the cutting process is difficult but always the most rewarding since you can see such dramatic changes. 5-6% is an agressive goal. that is like competitive hop on the stage bf levels.

    Thanks for the comments.
Yea my BF% target is high, but I like to challenge myself, if my goal isn’t challenging, I tend to slack off and not do well.

5-6% BF for me is actaully 10lbs of total weight. If I do it correctly it should be BF% loss not muscle loss. With a 13 week cycle this should be around 3/4lb per week. Want to lose it slowly to try and maintain as much muscle as I can. Last year I lost 20 lbs, but it wasn’t the most efficient, so I’m trying something different this time. I was able to add 15 lbs of weight back on over a 10 week cycle and my BF% only increase 2 %. SO if can get close to my target this time, I’m hopeing to have a more healthy appearance. No where close to be in competitive shape, just wanting that healthy look. Thanks fro commenting.

Update, I decided to do a body cleanse during my cutting. I’m using the Renew Life Power Cleanse. It for athletes who consume a lot of protein. Hope it works out.

    Update
I’ve lost 2.4 lbs so far, right on schedule, getting ready to crank up the cardio a little more to get the BF off. Still adjusting the diet, I cut my carbs to low and caught a little cold, didn’t get down, just felt weak. Over it now and ready to lose.

Started phase 2 of my cutting process. I’ve added VPX Meltdown to get a little more energy and maybe support my target of lowering BF%. Starting weight is 180 with a target of 175 by 4/21. Increasing cardio and keeping calorie intake between 190 & 2200 daily.

Last day on my cut cycle, final weight 177.5lbs

Starting a new supplement stack and lifting routine. Trying to confuse my body, Going to use carb cycling, high protein intake and heavy weights to get that last little bit of BF down. Actually targeting gaining 2-4 lbs with a 1-2% BF drop.
Going to use High Intensity training for 4 weeks, my main concern is overtraining and getting sick. I have to be really aware of how my body feels, due to me having to fight my immune system being weak.

I’ll be posting some updated pics soon. Mainly for my reference to keep trackof my progress.
Got to get a tan to bring that defiition out. So until the next time.

    Keep focused and stay positive.
