Time to regroup

Well finally kicked the nasty cold that has had me down for 2 weeks. Lost almost 5 lbs, so I guess thats the positive. But just got me behind on my plans.

So finally started my new routine from today.

Usually have no luck with creatine, but decided to try the new MRI CEE2-HD, probably hipe but trying anyway.

Experimenting with a few other supplements and my diet in hopes to gain about 5 lbs of muscle. New routine to shock the old body into growing. Only time will tell.

So I’ll try to keep weekly updates, still haven’t figured out the best way to measure my BF%. So I’ll have to depend on the scale and the tape measure for now.

Well its been 3 1/2 weeks since starting this new routine & supplement stack to gain some weight. So as of 1/2/08 I have gained 11lbs with no increase in my belly measurements( right above the belly button). Still have 4 more weeks on trying to gain weight, I’m way a head of my goal, my target was 10 lbs by 2/1/08.
Still eating 90% clean even through the Holidays. I think the new stack is really helping, plus my new rest/pause routine I’m trying. If I can maintain these results it will be a very successful bulking phase.
Still watching the Body fat, only able to measure waist line, still not able to check BF%, but as long as the waist line doesn’t increase I think I’m alright.
Thanks for the advice of some of you for this cycle, I’m still tracking calories very carefully as well as, if feeling hungry eating a little sooner than scheduled. Still depending heavily on chicken and tuna. I think this time I have improved my consumption of carbs. So I may have stumbled on a good combination for me. What ever it is, I’m going to continue, because its working for me.So this is my current update. Next update planned for 2/1/08 .
Then its time to start cutting for summer.

    UPDATE 1/20

6 weeks into my routine, total weight gained is 14.1lbs, with about 1% BF increase. 4 more weeks to go, I’m going to adjust the calorie intake a little, and still try for about 3 more lbs. Tht would be a total of 17 lbs. Then it time to start cutting and see what I have been working my old butt of for.

2 more weeks on trying to gain that last little bit of weight. Ran into the flu bug, lost about 1 week of lifting and 4 lbs of weight, that suck, but I’m back to busting my butt off, to try and improve. kind of anxious to start cutting to see what improvements I have made, For me, I can see, but will it show to others, I’ll just have to unwrap it by dropping BF and see whats there. Thanks to all the encouragement that I have gotten from thise site, Especially the over 40 group. You guys are a hard group to keep up with, but it sure is fun trying.

Finished my last cycle before starting to get ready for summer. Final weight of 184.5.
All in all it was a pretty successful cycle for me. Put on roughly 12lbs. It could have been better but has a couple of different ocasions that I was sick which reduced my intensity quite a bit. So I’m going to take a week off and then changes gears to get the metabolism cranking and see what lies beneath.
