As Sept 8th comes closer I realize more and more how the lifestyle changes that I have made and continue to make will make a difference. My first child is due on Sept 8th and I want more than anything to just be able to Run and Play with her! Yes it is a girl. I had a leg workout this morning. I did squats for the first time in 5 years. Yeah…it hurts already. But its all good. Tomorrow is a day off. So i will rest…Believe it!

I finally have some consistency with my workout….I had a Phyiscal on the 18th in….also had an eye exam. So i have 20-12/20-15 vision. Glucose is 80…down from 103. HDL IS 61 up from 42, LDL is 131 down from 157. BP WAS 120/80. So i am doing great, aside from losing weight (ONCE THAT PICKS UP I WILL BE ON MY WAY). I hit legs today and feel pretty good now. 47 days untl the baby is due so I am really focused on that right now. I have a HIIT session in the am….i feel my aerobic endurance getting stonger. Just got to stay focused!

Will I am back in the grind after selling the last of my puppies. I forgot how much they really! But it is fun! I have hit the gym a minum of 5 times a week for the past 3 weeks. I feel better not great. I entered a Cutting contest and it started out great but motivation fell off after the Puppies arrived. I was happy to get back to the gym and get my routine back in order. My little girl is due Sept 8th. Reality is cruel…..I know that my choices will affect not just myself but her as well. So i choose to lose! Lose all the negativity in my life. Lose the weight that will prevent me from running through the park with her. I have a new sense of responsibility, a responsibility to get myself in shape not for myself alone butfor my soon rto be lil girl and be a role model for her to look up to as she grows, more importantly to be around for her whenever she needs me! SOON TO BE A NEW ME!

Today was my day off but I woke up aearly and did 30 minutes of Cardio on the treadmill. I am hoping to up my cardio from this point foward. Lifting is going well. I feel myself getting stronger! I am happy but not satisfied because I know I can do better!

Being off from working out so long has not hurt as much as I expected. Now i juist have t get used to getting up at 4:45am again! ARGGG. The dogs seem to think this their play time! Feeling ok today. I have legs tonight….and a date with my wife! hmmmmmmmmmmm! could be a good night!

So my doc has cleared me to gert back to working out. I have missed three weeks of lower body…..I had surgery on my foot and it has been he!! trying to do anything. YOU ARE NOTHING IF YOU DON’T HAVE GOOD WHEELS. Anyway, I have been able to maintain my weight over this time. Tomorrow is my first full body workout since DEC 2ND. So I am looking foward to the pain!

This is my first post. I am 1 month into to my journey to lose weight. I started with walks with my wife and 3 German Shepherds. I am in the process of fine tuning my diet. Cut back fast food, sugar, soda, breads to start! Starting weight 339.8 current weight 325.4
