HARD DAY

I had a pretty tough time this am with my workout.  I was not able to do my normal weight on some exercises so I had to drop the weight down.  Hopefully this is a 1 time thing.  We have 21 day now until our daughter is born.  She is all the motivation that I need!

It is normal to have on off day once in awhile, it’s no big deal. Could have been any numbers of things that threw you off, pre-workout nutrition, fatigue, or lack of focus. The important thing is you didn’t give up because every workout, every set, every rep helps make positive changes in your body. Keep motivated and you’ll achieve your goals!

Hey D! I had a rough workout day too. I am glad to see that you are still motivated. We have to stay focused on our goals. Exercise and proper diet are the best things for a long and happy life ( the family helps too). Let us know when the little angel arrives! Keep it up!

Strength on any given day is a relative thing. It can depend on how you slept the night before, how many carbs and what type you ate yesterday, your protein consumption can also be part of it. Things like dieting and losing weight can affect strength also. There are so many things that enter into each day’s workout that to be off one day is not really much of a big deal.
When I have those days I usually find myself using lower weights but upping my reps and actually getting a wicked workout anyway.

You’re going to be just fine… It’s a consistancy thing. Weight will fluctuate from time to time and even from day to day. Just know that from day to day it’s normally water weight that goes up or down…

You just need to stay positive and consistant with your clean eating meals and with your workout regimine. It will coe together in time.

Keep change in the mix !!! The body can adapt pretty easily so you want to change your workouts, cardio and even foods around often so you don’t get bored and so the body doesn’t either ;)

All my best to you and your family– Best of luck with the new family member :)

Also, the poundages you lift will go up and down as well… nothing stayw the same day in and day out. You will be stronger some days and just not on others… Sometimes it’s relative to the sleep you are or are not getting, it may have to do with how you are eating, as in are you getting enough calories while dieting, or even how your workout was the day before, are you tired from it or very sore..?? All these and MORE play a roll in strength, weight loss, muscle gains, etc…

Keep up the good work, keep reading and looking for knowledge… You can never have enough-
