Cutting Time

Sunday, March 30th, 2008

So here’s the deal.  It’s time to get the weight off.  I’m at 235 right now and would like to get down as far as possible.  My father is cutting as well and said that he would fork over the money for any food we needed.  We went today and loaded up on Chicken Breasts, Tuna and Talapia.  I am currently taking Syntha 6, ZMA, Fax Seed, and Creatine. 

 What i’m looking for here is recommendations.  This is the first time i have had the resources to actually follow through with this.  How would you guys time your eating?  How much of everything would you eat per meal?  Give me some ideas.  Thanks guys.

Closed on Easter

I know it’s Easter Sunday and I completely understand my gym being closed.  But it sure would have been nice to have been able to go in today.  I might need the day off though.  Hope everyone had a great day with friends and family.

Hate Working late

I love my job, but i hate when i have to miss a workout because of it.  So far this week i have missed Monday (chest & shoulders) and Tuesday (Legs).  I can’t believe I had to miss a leg night.  Anyway, i’m off at noon tomorrow and 5 the rest of the week.  I will make up for the lost time. Still needing to drop about 15 pounds.  Any reco’s would be appriciated.

HELP!!!!!

Okay, here’s the deal, I have got to get some weight off, maybe 15 to 20 LBS.  I currently weigh 232 and would love to get to 210 -215.  Let me know what you recommend.  I’m looking for help in every aspect, SUPPLEMENTATION, DIET, recommended workout programs.  DIET AND SUPPS Most of all though.  I’m consistant in the gym.  Help me out guys.

Great day today.  45 minutes of hard cardio, split between treadmill and eliptical.  Good chest workout.  Plus an ab finisher.  Does it get any better? 

INCLINE DB - 3 of 10  @ 85lbs/side, Hammer strength incline 3 of 10 @ 150lbs, Cable crossover 3 of 8 @ 50lbs, and peck deck 4 of 8 @ 180lbs. 

I’m pretty darn happy with that.  More Cardio Tomorrow.

Good session, considering time

Tonight i got in the gym late but still managed to have a good workout considering the time constraints.  I worked chest and triceps.  Feeling good about the way things are going.  Here’s a question though.  When i do legs my quads are sore for about the next three days.  I mean, "can’t sit down" sore.  Is there anything you could recommend.  I stretch every morning.  I just wanted to see if you had any recommendations.

Well, I have had a few good days in the gym in a row now.  I hit legs pretty hard (for me) on sunday, and cardio and shoulders today.  I’ve got to get my diet under control.  I’ve been extremely on and off as far as that goes.  I’ll still take any recommendations you guys have.  Later.  God Bless

a rough go of it

It’s been a rough few weeks.  The workouts have been spotty.  I ended up with a staf infection (not sure on the spelling), followed by a rash due to an allergy to the meds i was given.  But, i got back in the gym today and will be consistant from here out.  I’m back up to 234lbs.  Not happy about that, but give me a few weeks and i’ll be back on track.  I hit it pretty hard tonight.  Good weights and reps considering the time off.
