Thursday Fun
Thursday, February 1st, 2007ace. I did this workout easily even though I was concerned because earlier in the day my legs had been hurting from the squat session I had on Monday. All in all everything went just fine.
Training
Tuesday, January 30th, 2007Marathon training started today, so I ended the workout with an easy 50 min run of 6 miles. I also did shoulders and some legs. I’ve started to use the smith machine to do military press since I’m not at school and I’m not lifting with anyone im comfortable with spotting me. I did 4 sets of 5 and got up to 205 and felt pretty comfortable doing it. I felt fit after my workout and I look forward to incorporating longer runs into my transition and transformation.

Marathon
Sunday, January 28th, 2007Running a marathon is always something I have wanted to do so after a week of deciding I signed up for the Burlington, VT marathon on May 27th 2007. I’ve have always been into running as cardio, doing 20-25 miles week, and I have always wanted to run a marathon. The rugby schedule for the spring isn’t too demanding so I’ve decided to get my first marathon under my belt. I am still going to be lifting 4-5 times a week and hopefully training for the marathon will get me shredded and get my bodyfat percentage down.
I don’t really have a time goal I just want to finish and see how I like doing it since I plan on running plenty more in the future.
Tired after a week of work
Friday, January 19th, 2007But I had to hit the gym. I was working on Shoulders and Traps today and ended up having a solid workout. I am really trying to work on this area because it is extremely important for rugby.
After working out my shoulders were burning but I had to run and ended up doing 4.25 miles in 35 mins. Time for food and to crash
Blog Entry
Wednesday, January 10th, 2007Is it me or are the prices at nutrition stores like GNC and Vitamin Shoppe ridiculous?
Their products are 20-30% more expensive than the same exact things on bb.com and for that I am thankful that I have found this site. Just wanted to put that out there.
About two hours until I hit the gym and dos biceps, triceps, some legs, and another ru
Great Workout
Monday, January 8th, 2007I got right off the train an headed straight into the gym. It felt good not to go home first and get distracted. I was doing chest today and wasn’t too sure about it because my last workout was not great. I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to put up 250 3 times on the straight bench which is the most I have ever done and I was also able to do 225 twice on the incline bench which is the most I have ever done.
I capped the workout off with some Hang cleans and then ran 4 miles in 29:18. I was pretty tired afterward.
Came home and had a nice yellowfin tuna steak and some pasta
