I wonder, since I have such a hard time gaining muscle in my arms if on days I work out my biceps/triceps if a weight gainer would help?

How heavy are you lifting? Don’t be afraid to lift heavy and lower the reps. You really want to make sure your feeling the burn. I have found that hammer curls and dips are 2 key exercises that I always do when training arms among many others.

hammer curls, bicep curls, triceps kickbacks, alternate dumbell curls, triceps extensions, and triceps pushdowns.
i lift as heavy as i can, doin 3 sets of 6-8 reps. i increase weight every few weeks, but it seems as though i’m not gaining mass….my arms are getting more defined, but they’re not growing.

6-8 reps is for strength, not size. if you want size try more of a 8-12 rep range

Try doing some negative reps. Just do a search on here about that. It really forces mucle to grow. Hope this helps!

I’m trying to get size on my arms as well…. So I’ve really upped my protein intake and its helping! YAH

at one point i was doing a 40/40/20 split of carbs/protein/fat, but i recently started carb cycling….so on days i workout it’s a 45/35/20 split of carbs/protein/fat. dunno how that’s working yet but we’ll see.
thanks for the tips!! i’ll definitely try more an 8-12 rep range and some negatives!

a weight gainer wouldnt hurt. ive tryed cytogainer by cytosport and it got me pretty yolked

i’ve heard cytogainer and monster milk are pretty good…i just don;t wanna gain any excess fat, that’s the only problem

yah thats true u will probly get a little bit of fat if u dont hit cardio. honestly when im bulking i just eat loads of tuna and chicken

i do about 3 hours of cardio a week. i’m just paranoid about gaining fat cause the first place it goes is my abs and i’m just starting to see those. i dont want my hard work to go to waste just so i can have bigger arms
