Arm day, and holy shit did i power through that workout! I did 105 x 6 on BB curls, and i did some serious lifts with skullcrushers and close grip dumbbell bench. I am very happy with my progress this year so far.
On another note, i’m strongly considering X-Factor after I’m done with ActivaTe Xtreme. Conor from MN has been helping me prepare for it, giving me feedback on my planned diet and supplementation with the XF, and it’s helped tremendously. I feel that AA can really help me put on some LBM before the summer gets here, then i’ll start shredding in late June. Not like i can shred anyway with this thick loose skin from my moronic high school weight loss, but i’ll come close.
I’m really impressed with how i look in the mirror compared to a year ago, and that’s what counts most

I did it AGAIN yesterday, more PR’s on deadlifts! Got up 255 x 10, then 275 x 6! Two hundred seventy-five pounds for me, what an improvement! I am seriously more proud of myself than i’ve been in ages. I also really think that the AX + 6-OXO is a killer combo. Lovin’ it, wish i’d logged it so others could see my progress as well.
I’m one happy mofo right now

Today was THE DAY. I set another PR on deadlifts, 255 x 8! I probably could have even got 275 up, but i’ll wait for next week for that. It’s now week 5 on ActivaTe Xtreme and week 4 on Lean Xtreme 2.0, and i gotta say that these supplements are amazing.
255 x 8, and with perfect form. I am so giddy right now, talk about a natural high! I don’t even know what else to type LOL

Wow, today’s workout was further proof of how much my supplement purchases have been worth the money i spent. I increased my deadlift PR by 65 pounds! It has a lot to do with the fact that I finally figured out how best to use the lifting straps in order to prevent forearm fatigue and wrong grip on the bar. I felt like a beast! Since it was so easy to keep adding the weights to the bar, i kept doing it, finishing at like 6 sets of deads at 5-15 reps per set (high reps at early sets, low reps as i progressed). then i did some DB rows, BB rows, lat pulldowns, seated good mornings, barbell curls, incline DB curls, and concentration curls. Finished up with some ab work, and when i got back i realized i was at the gym for almost 90 minutes! I’m usually out of there in 45-50 minutes.
So I guess it might be time to go from my push/pull/legs split to something more complex, allowing more time per body part and more rest as well. Maybe a 7 day routine with a five day split and two days rest….time to do some research

It’s been a WHILE since i’ve written in here, and that’s 100% due to how pissed I am that I had written about 6 paragraphs a few weeks back and when I tried to save the post, the damn site crashed and I lost everything i typed. I was so pissed I figured "screw my bodyblog." But here it is at 3pm on Saturday, I’m bored, it’s snowing outside, and all I want to do is go to the gym. Unfortunately I just ate and still have some time before I leave, so I figured I’d do some typing.
Ever since I started the CL stack plus SizeOn i’ve been experiencing big strength and size gains. I added ActivaTe Xtreme and i’m loving that as well. I’m going to toss Thyrotabs
+ Lean Xtreme 2.0 into the mix as well next week and see what happens during a mini-cut. After 4 weeks of the mini-cut I’m going back to bulking, with M-Stak and ActivaTe Xtreme. These supplements are really helping me break through the plateau I’d been stuck in from August through January.
Today is back day, and since deadlifts are officially my favorite exercise I can’t frickin wait to hit that gym. I’m gonna go do some more research then head over. And I’m out…

Yesterday was my off day, but i am SO GLAD it was because i am still sore in my legs from that workout on Monday! That’s a good thing i’m sure. I’ve upped my calories, started the CL stack, and only a few days into the stack i feel brand new. i hope it’s not placebo effect; i read a lot about that and how people get so pumped for their new supplements that they overexaggerate their results.
oh well, it’s psuh (chest/shoulders/triceps) day today and i’m ****ing excited. a little ab work too! Can’t wait!

One good thing I’ve noticed is how easy it’s been to get back on track after having a bad day like I did Sunday. Yesterday (Monday) i went right back to my normal eating habits, and did some very hardcore HIIT after work. I felt like I lost 10 lbs of sweat, and i needed that feeling. Today is leg day, and my first day with my very first stack. I’m now taking GlycerGrow and White Flood 30 mins preworkout, and Purple Wraath + SizeOn from about 10 mins preworkout all the way through to the end of the workout. Then I immediately have some GoldenFinish as a postworkout supplement. But i’m really looking forward to tonight’s Canadian wild salmon dinner! Salmon + broccoli + bean salad = very happy me

i am starting to HATE cheat day. i hate that i’m eating foods i don’t normally eat, i hate that i’m not exercising, and i hate that i feel so shitty the next day. worst of all, i hate that there’s no workout today. i am going for some HIIT, maybe that will help me feel better about those ****in girl scout cookies i pounded yesterday.
this week’s primary goal: take what is now cheat DAY, and make it cheat MEAL. 1-2 meals on sunday, rather than the whole frickin day!

Well this is my first post in my body blog. I must admit, things have DRASTICALLY changed in my life in the last twelve months. I’ve gone from a skinny, almost never eating waste of space into a bodybuilding fiend. I read more about diet/nutrition, training and healthy living than I do about money and finance, and I’m an accountant!
I’m really starting to wish I’d gone to school to be a nutritionist. That’s what I wanted back in the day when I used to be fit, but I let the family talk me into a business career. Now I love my job, but I love training and nutrition and spreading the word about living healthy WAY MORE.
This site is changing the way I live my life. I love it.
