training update

I went to the gym this morning to do some cardio. I finally made it to 60 minutes on the elyptical machine. Then I went to the treadmill to see how long I could maintain a 6.0 pace. I made it 15 minutes. 1.5 miles is the longest I have ran since I was a teen. I will work on my 5k distance goal and then work on the time. I am also trying to increase the number of push-ups and pull-ups I can do. I had been slacking off lately, so the two pull-ups I finally could do are now back to zero (sh#!). I am up to 13 push-ups. I would like to be able to do at least 10 pull-ups and 25 push-ups.

lack of motivation

I have slacked off for some time and I gained some weight back. I have not been loyal to the gym either. I started back at the gym last week and made some changes to my diet, but I do not have a training partner to motivate me when I need some motivation. My wife is very thin and has a whole different training schedule than I need. I work nights and go to the gym early mornings and I am usally the only one there. If you have any suggestions or a motivational story or motivational progress pic, give it up.
