just as i thought…i feel and look MUCH better this week. not so puffy, a week of halloween candy does me body good.
i also did NO cardio this week. i will eat a normal breakfast(not candy) this week and pick up cardio just a tad.

yup it’s true, i’m taking a break from the nutrition. i had been feeling not quite myself lately, couldn’t put a finger on it but i know my body and something wasn’t just right. i broke down my food intake and found that some how in this crazy sport of bodybuilding(yes we are building our bodies in some way) i ended up with my calories way too low, protein WAY to high and carbs way to low. so i’m not even going to think about what i eat until 2009! NOW of course i won’t be eating crap 24/7 , i still work out and still need to build muscle but if i feel like eating pizza every night for a week then i will!
i have done this before and came back looking much better and with a body that landed me 2 state titles, 2 regional titles and an add in oxygen mag.(anyone see it?) i do think giving the body a totally rest, meaning mentally as well as physically can be healthy.
I know for myself i probably drive myself over the edge making sure my nutrition is always on.
the real challenge here is excepting that my veins, abs, tight glutes,and shredded arms will be gone for a brief time…but they wil be back better then ever!!

ok, so does it give you skin ripping pump?, not me. did i have poping veins, nope, but i will say superpump 250 put me in a good mood (even on my grumpiest days) and i could do cardio for hours! i would recommend it.

well after heading to a couple a national shows this summer and being totally confused ….was told to lean then when came in softer did worse?? I wonder if i should continue? so the past two weeks i did nothing, no working out, not one healthy meal! (i know GJ doesn’t believe that one) i’m not upset or discouraged just not sure what to do…my husband wants kids!! LOL! something to think about i guess. but here’s what i do know, i love motivating others by leading by example so if i never spend my entire bank account on competing again i want to stay lean and flex for my friends for the rest of my life!!

people always ask me what i eat, so here’s what was in my grocery cart today!
4lbs of strawberries, 320z bag of broccoli,red,yellow,green bell peppers, 2 bundles of fresh asparagus,5 sweet potatos, 1 cucumber,1 red onion,1 bag of frozen green beans, 2 packages of 99% lean ground turkey,2 packages of 87% lean ground turkey (husbands), 2 18oz flank steaks,1 new strip(husband), 3 cans of diced tomatoes (to put in ground turkey) ,4lbs of lowfat coattage cheese, 4 bags of chicken breast, 42oz of quick oats, 5lb bag of japanese rice (i know i should eat brown but i never have and i seem to be doing ok) 1 can of red kideny beans (my husband put them in his ground turkey) sliced turkey meat for sandwiches my husband eats. (not me,yuck) can’t believe its not butter spray, skinny cow ice cream sandwiches (my husbands),8.5lbs of lana’s egg whites, toothpaste, oh yea and sliced pepperjack cheese (for the turkey sandwich….thats it for this week. It doesn’t really change much week to week….year to year.

YES I AM NATURAL!! i have been on fire for about three/four weeks and now people think i’m "taking something" it is kind of flattering but honest the only thing i am on is the damn bench press and squat rack! i don’t even take dieretics for contest (don’t even know how to spell it!) to my locals…if you hear these rumors just laugh at them!

one thing about being sick…dehydrated!! aka..RIPPED!! lol might have been a little weak in the gym today but i looked like i was getting on stage. OK i know thats not good ive been chugging H2O!! got to love the looks and then, soon to follow the "question" what show are you doing? My normal reply to that ? is… "me? compete? ha" i could never do that, that shit is hard!
Sure did feel good to pull some weight! (back today) All together now….lat spread, doesn’t that feel good!! can’t wait to get back in tomorrow!

OH MY GOSH!! any truck drivers on here ’cause i need some help!! i mean truck drivers with no back window, no rear view mirror!
i drive a car thats the size of a toaster and today i had to learn how to drive a fedex truck for my new job…which i thought was the best job in the entire world because of the extra workout i was getting everyday carry’n HUGE and HEAVY boxes for hours BUT those darn BIGASS (yup thats on word!) trucks just made me wonder what the hey i got myself into! thank goodness it was only brite orange cones (you know the ones) that i keep running over! i did OK going forward, except i almost forgot that about 4 of my cars would fit in the back of that truck so i cut some corners a little sharp, but backing up…. what a nightmare! a very humble’n experience! for some reason i don’t think more protein will help me here!
