P90X day 94 Core Synergistics

Tuesday, November 24th, 2009

I’ve said it before. This is a tough routine. Plank to chaturanga run really wears me out. Then straight to walking pushups. I feel just about done after those two.

My son will be home tomorrow. Looking forward to that. He’ll be graduating college next month. And then he’ll really be on his own. Very proud of him. :D For Thanksgiving, my daughter will be cooking every thing. She did great last year. Can’t wait to see what she has in store this year.

P90X day 93 Who’s on first…

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

At one point today I was feeling very tired. So I had to take a break and got on Youtube for a pick me up. And I came across one of my favorite comedy acts. Abbot and Costello. These were just the things that made me feel better.

Friday, November 20th, 2009

I’ve got to get it out of my head about not liking leg day. Out of all the lifting work outs in P90X. Legs & Back makes me huff and puff. All the squats and lunges gets me breathing. Next week is recovery week. So no leg day next Friday. :D

P90X day 88 My eyes are burning..

Tuesday, November 17th, 2009

From a combination of things. Staring at two monitors all day. And the cooler dryer air this time of year. But I think it’s mostly from the first. However, I do need to get my eyes checked. I’m to the point were I need glasses. And not just reading glasses. My right eye, things are just a tiny bit blurry. Like when reading the menu on tv. I do have a pair of reading glasses though. When my son was home from college once. I was wearing them and he didn’t know at the time. When he saw me with them on, kinda shocked him. :D

Today, plyometrics.

P90X Day 87 Back to work…

Monday, November 16th, 2009

from my vacation last week. Had a lot of catching up to do today. Worked right through lunch. And when I thought I was caught up, I’d remember something else I needed to do. But I was caught up about 45 mins before time to come home and get some heavy work done. (Chest & Back, Ab RipperX)

P90X day 86 Legs & Back, Ab RipperX

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

Was feeling a bit tired this morning. Slept well, just wanted to keep sleeping. But when the sun starts peeking through the window…. I never look forward to legs. This wears me down. I need to change my mind set about this. However, pull-ups and chin-ups are getting better. Today, going to do a water change in the aqaurium. And watch college football the rest of the day.

P90X day 85 Change in plans

Friday, November 13th, 2009

There was a change in plans late last night in were my daughter will go to college. She checked on things for Texas State late last night. And turns out there’s no housing available for her. Also, the classes they had her signed up for, just to get her registered, are not some of the classes she wanted to take. Also, if she stayed next semester at the Junior College, she will have a scholarship. So it will be paid for. :)   Now she is registered for next semester at the Junior College. She’s seems happier. Trying to get to Texas State was stressing her out.

Today KenpoX. I’m a day off my schedule due to our trip to Texas State on Wednesday. Usually today is leg day. I’ll get back on schedule next week.

P90X day 84 Long day yesterday

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

My daughter and I drove about 3 and a half hrs to the college she wants to go to for registration. We stopped for lunch about 30 mins away from the college. We had some sammiches that were heavier than we thought they would be. (Italian Panini’s) Grilled, smoothered with butter. And filled with two cheeses. About 5 hrs later, I was still feeling that sandwhich. We were at the college for about 4 hrs. I had to wait around while she was getting registered. She is a transfer student. She’s finished with her basics at the Jr. College near by. The classes she needs for her major were all full. So it looked like she would not be able to go next semester. But we worked with the counselor’s and got her the minimum 12 hrs she needs. There may still be some work ahead. We hope some more classes will make. Or there will be some drops so she can change her schedule. Then we had the 3 and half hr drive back home. It seemed like a long day yesterday.

Today Shoulder & Arms, Ab RipperX
