Staples taken out…
Tuesday, May 12th, 2009yesterday afternoon. The one on my outside shoulder (arm) stung a little bit. The one on my back shoulder, not so bad. However, the 4 staples on my upper chest. Different story. Since the surgery, they had continued to be irritated. All red and angry looking. I think the irritation came from little things. Anything that would pull on my chest. Like yawning, coughing, and sneezing. My OS came in and removed the 4 on my chest. They hurt quite a bit. I broke out in a good sweat. I didn’t cry or curse. But I did suck my thumb for bit afterwards. So since the surgery I’ve been able to work from home. Which hasn’t been all bad. I’ve taken over the dinner table. I’ll be going back to the office on Monday. My OS says that I should be close to 100% by December. I should start PT very soon. Good thing there is a place near the house. They should be contacting me this week.
One thing i found puzzling. I thought that during this off time, I would gain a couple pounds and increase abit on BF %. That hasn’t been the case so far. But I’ll keep checking.
