LIVING LIFE LIKE A MONK

Friday, November 30th, 2007

So recently I went on vacation with some family and friends, and it was a great vacation other than the fact that I experimented like maybe youve read in my last blog. I wanted to test the waters and see what it was like to live my life in the sedentary lifestyle, and it was horrible. My life consists of routine and discipline, discipline insofar, that everyone persists to call me a monk. My meals have to be consistently distributed, my habits have to be routinely practiced, and my life has to be completely under control. Some may say that this will become a detremental phobia to my later life, I say that they have no idea what they are missing out on. My whole life Ive felt like Ive been meant to serve some kind of purpose with religion aside, I felt a calling awaiting me when I was older. When I was 15 I found Arnold to be my ideal career, bodybuilder, successor, self made man. I wanted to be like him, as do others, but unlike others I dont just want to talk about it, I want to do it. I write this blog because a lot of people have a great misunderstanding of the bodybuilding lifestyles and principles. The fact is that many of us are your modern day samurai’s, we live life in purpose and pursuit for honor and glory. We will stand determined no matter the cause in life or endeavor.

THE NO SHOTGUN EXPERIENCE

Wednesday, November 28th, 2007

So I decided why not, lets give this hype a try! I recieved my shotgun in the mail about 3 weeks ago and was fairly excited to see what it tastes like. Im not going to lie its like eating a rotten sour apple jolly rancher, pretty much have to gag it down with a chaser, lol! Moreover, the effects of the shotgun are simply unbelievable, the pumps are outrageous and the strenght gain is insane. I dont believe that I have ever seen my upper body and legs get so pumped in my life, I couldnt even fit into my jeans after legs and I wear the extra baggy pair! If anyone is up for the challenge I suggest that you do it, keep in mind that the new flavor coming out is way better, i had a sample and it tasted great!

BEING SEDENTARY

Monday, November 26th, 2007

So I took into effect that my body hasnt been sedentary in over 11 years, and Ive never taken a break from any kind of athletic event in a while, before it was wrestling, football, track, now its bodybuilding. I wanted to conduct a small experiment with dropping everything as far as training, supplementation, and correct eating for a period of 6 days altogether. I found it easy for the first 2 days, eating 3 meals and doing no exercise, by about the third day I felt like Jack Nicholson in the Shining, I was ready to kill somebody. The total feeling of lethargy, the lack of motivation, the missing of overwhelming vitality, hit me all at once like a train. Now keep in mind that I am a natural bodybuilder, so that means I eat about 4,000 calories a day mostly dependent upon complex carbs and protein, and the reduction of meals and nutrients was detremental to my feeling of well being and sanity! I arrived home last night and couldnt wait to start my day anew, with a drive fresher than ever! I am now mentally ready to take on my competition campaign as if it was my first time ever!

THE IMPORTANCE OF YOUR MUSIC

Saturday, November 17th, 2007

So I dont know about anybody else out there, but I cant explain well enough the importance of my ipod in my routine day to day! Some people find that natural state of peace and equilibrium without use of any technology, I have to give it to them because that is something that I can never do. I have to listen to my music to stay my focus, when my focus becomes lost I get very irritable and I begin to resent the person that made me lose that focus. The good news is that I am becoming more aware of this problem and my leniency is growing, but overall I get lost in my little ipod world containing 6000 songs! I hope that Im not the only one that feels like this!

Stressful Importance

Thursday, November 15th, 2007

Many people live there lives day to day in a simple routine of awakening, preperation, working, working out and eating! This is okay to the vast population, but to few of us there is something that we just cant seem to put any tangebility on the matter. The fact is that feeling of void may be internal stress. I myself have suffered from it many of times and the fact that Im not even aware of it sometimes drives me crazy! Stress can be incredibly detrimental to your training program, it can make you lethargic, depressed, oversore, loss or gain of appetite, and it can greatly affect your bodies anabolism. The fact is stress can kill just about anyone, active, or unactive. Find the things that are a stress in your life and try to begin by handling them one at a time. Some are tricky, you may find that its based on your career, take a deep breath and find a solution, some may be a relationship, sort the problem handle communication, if thats not the answer then consider the alternative. You only have one life to live, why live it in dire? Be happy, be healthy, but most of all, find out what it is that you enjoy most and follow that path for the sake of your vitality and body!

TRY A 20 POUND VEST

Monday, November 5th, 2007

So recently I came about a small theory of what it would be like to carry and extra 20 pounds each day, mainly to prove a point on a health matter. Found that carrying the extra 20 pounds while doing cardio increased my normal fat burning rate of 135 to 165. My point is that extra 20 pounds on anyone can be crucially detremental to their health. If you know someone, please encourage them to stay fit and healthy, cant imagine the feeling of tire everyday! It does not make them terrible people by any means, we are all the same, just the truth of how it affects their health!

MASS PHASE POSTPONED

Monday, November 5th, 2007

The mass phase has now been continuing for over 3 weeks and I believe that it is time for the body to now rest and move into a more convential high volume lower weight routine for the next week to responsively recover and move the body forth to hyperplasia! I can really feel a difference, all of my shirts and pants are tight not in the waist but in the legs! Spider veins are now continually rising to the surface, and my energy is expodential! Cant wait for another 3 weeks of yeilding results!
