Please Just Go Away Hillary!
Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

As the presidential election is steadily gaining steam I must say I’m thoroughly disappointed with the Democratic party. Don’t get me wrong, I really don’t know which way I would vote in the upcoming election but I do feel the fact Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are still vying for the Democratic nomination it is hurting their party’s chances of taking up residence in the White House. In reality, Hillary needs to pack her bags and do her party a favor by letting Obama lead the party into the election.
In today’s political environment, we desperately need a president who will not polarize the political atmosphere that exists in Washington. If we are to move ahead we need leaders who call for realistic change as opposed to just wishful thinking that is used to manipulate the masses by swaying their votes with false dreams. I don’t feel Hillary Clinton is sincere and has always come off as an opportunist positioning herself for the next step up the political ladder.
“I always smile this big!”
She has a long history of scandal to boot as well which includes improper real estate practices (Whitewater scandal), the poor treatment and firing of numerous White House staff at will (Travelgate), the “suicide” of Hillary’s law partner Vince Foster on the night, along with improper use of FBI background reports regarding certain investigators who were looking into the Clinton’s discretions (Filegate). Let’s not forget 14 associates of the Clinton’s were convicted of over 40 crimes including a seated governor at the time. Her and “Slick Willy” seemed to evade prosecution every time. Do we need to even bring up good ole’ Monica? I’d probably have a little more respect if she gave Bill the boot but she didn’t!
“Yeah I ****ed up!”
To level with you, I would like to see a race between Barack Obama and John McCain. The reason being, it would be the first election where I would be choosing between the better man as opposed to the lesser of two evils. Both men appear to have their platforms in order and also have a great perspective in their visions for the future of America.

Regardless of what happens I do think either choice would be much better than a country run by Hillary Clinton. We need an individual with strong character and someone without so many skeletons falling out of the closet that it just doesn’t seem to close anymore. McCain and Obama appear better suited for this election and hopefully Clinton’s ego doesn’t ruin the chances of the Democratic party from elevating the best person in due time.
