Hamstring Training 1/08/07

SLDL: 315lbs x 6 x 3 superset w/

Prone Leg Curls: 180lbs x failure x 3

Single Leg Hack Squats: 180lbs x 8/8 x 3

High Foot Placement Hack Squats: 360lbs x failure x 3 superset w/

Toe Presses: failure x 3

Seated Toe Press: 180lbs x 20 x 3

Precor CrossTrainer: 20 minutes

Under the advice of a friend I’m going to start lifting heavy again. I’ve been somewhat tentative as of late due to various injuries but I’m healthy now and its time to step my game a bit. I do all movements with a focus on slow eccentric control. I could literally feel my hamstrings being torn apart on the SLDL. I’ve also been going into a fuller stretch as well.

Hopefully, this will put some much need size and “hang” on to my hamstrings. They aren’t terrible in a side chest pose, but could always use some work. I would kill for hamstrings like these (and every other muscle group…lol).

    I have injured my hamstring last Dec07,after through medicines and rest i have recovered,since I am a soccer player I have to stretch a lot while tackling & whenever I do this I injured my hamstring again,pls advise what should I do.
