Who’s in Your Advertisement?

Nowadays when you pick up any muscle magazine you are bombarded with before and after pictures utilized to showcase various supplements. This trend is generally accepted by most avid readers because you become immune to them. However, one really stuck out in my mind.SANN Tight is great product in both the pill and RTD form. I’ve tried the RTD actually and must say it is quite an effective product. As much as like SANN products I was certainly disturbed by an ad which used the before and after photos of 19 year old Steve Shobert.

For anyone who has cut for a competition can attest, getting this lean is very hard and comendable. However, Mr. Shobert seems to have taken this a bit too far by losing quite a bit of muscle which makes him look grossly emaciated. Another thing Mr. Shobert lost was any credibility as of late after a few companies have since come forth on the forums here that he indeed sent them the same pictures claiming he used their supplements as well to cut the fat.

Representatives from both Gaspari Nutrition and Designer Supplements have recently come forward and said the Mr. Shobert also sent them the same pictures in the hopes of being featured in their advertisements in various supplement industry publications. Even worse, in every communication he claimed he used their supplements to get that great 4% bodyfat look most people are striving for. Talk about busted.

I don’t think we’ll be seeing poor Mr. Shobert in any advertisements again in the coming future. For you supplement companies out there I would hope that there is some way to verify whether or not the the aspiring fitness athletes in your ads actually use your products. Regardless, it’s funny as shit when something like this is brought to light and I got a good laugh. Thank you Mr. Shobert and SANN!

Let me tell you something bro, Steve Shobert is an incredible bodybuilder. I know Mr. Shobert personally becuase he made my diet plan. Who cares if he sent his pictures to many supplement companies trying to get sponsored! Good for him. I know that this is a proffession for him. So dont say negative things about him. Do you think that every bodybuilder sends pictures to supplement companies and actually uses their product? I think not, because they are trying to get as much exposure as possible in any way possible. So before you talk smack about someone do your damn homework!!
