Trying to Start again

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008

Well we are getting settled in here in VA, I started taken my new supplements again. I start shift on friday so working hard to get everything straight and get a good work out schedule in. Working out a schedule is going to be tough, due to the weird shift work we have here. Hopefully they decided to go ahead with the change to the schedule, switching from days to night ever two to three days is going to hard!

Food Poison and Movin’

Tuesday, July 8th, 2008

Yeah, not sure what the hell I ate, but my stomach and gut are doing cart wheels. Everything I drink and eat comes out all liquidy.  Feeling a little bit better today …. so far, taken some of that pink stuff (max) so it looks to be helping.

On top of that, the packers are packin up my house and we are not waiting for the movers to come and load up all the boxes, so we can get the hell up outta of here(fort Hood, tx)!

Still waiting my next box of supplement to come in the mail, so with all that going on, taken a break from working out and my supplement routine.

SizeOn Tabs

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

Well, I almost done with my first bottle of SizeOn Tabs and have a second bottle on the way. I usually take these with my Lipo 6 first thing in the morning with a protein shake, then off to Army PT.

I’ve had no problems taken these and take 6 tabs every morning. I like the fact that this supplement has a NO Loading phase. So I take those in the morning before PT, then before my evening workout out I take my SuperPump250. I am seeing some gains, but since it’s my first month on the Tabs I still have a ways to go!

My main focus of working out is to keep my BF% under control. Army says I can only wieght 211 lbs with not more then 24% BF.  I really wanna hit 20% BF and my long term goal is to get down to 15%, but for me it seems the older I get the hard it is.

Yeah, my eating habits need a over haul too, but I have made a lot of changes … egg whites, protein increase, keeping my carb intake down too.  Also, keeping up on my supplement help out a bunch too.

naNO Vapor and Time

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

Well, my neighbor let me borrow some of his naNO Vapor to try it out. So yesterday was my first try at naNO Vapor, so really can’t say anything right now. Going to try it for a week then report what I find out about the product. Though first thing I did notice is that since I Have been on SuperPUMP250 for a while now that I need to up the dose.

Almost done outprocessing so I do get a little extra time for working out. since they will start packin my stuff up, it looks like I might have to go back to the gym. Since I’m on Fort Hood, we have a bunch of gyms that I can use here for free.

Got word on the packers, they come on the 7th to start packin’ us up to move to VA!!!!!!!

Back at the Gym today

Monday, June 2nd, 2008

This afternoon I got tasked to take the PT failures and overweight soldiers for some extra pt(special pop). I took the soldier to the gym on post here. I went home to change and took some SuperPump250 and headed to the gym.

Since the soldiers have a PT test on WED, I had them take it light, don’t wanna give them a reason to be worn out for their test.

I hit the incline bench for 6 set of 10-12 reps … the decline bench for 4 sets … then the flat bench for 4 sets 10-12 reps (plus dumbbell back pulls and flat bench flys).

Then I had one of the guy spot me and started adding weight. For the past 3 months, I have been working out in my basement with 15, 25, 40 lbs dumbbells. I took the weight up to 295lbs for my last good lift and a sloppy 305 lbs (1 rep).

Happy Memorial DAY!

Monday, May 26th, 2008

The "Memorial" in Memorial Day has been ignored by too many of us who are beneficiaries of those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Often we do not observe the day as it should be, a day where we actively remember our ancestors, our family members, our loved ones, our neighbors, and our friends who have given the ultimate sacrifice:

  • by visiting cemeteries and placing flags or flowers on the graves of our fallen heroes.
  • by visiting memorials.
  • by flying the U.S. Flag at half-staff until noon.
  • by flying the ‘POW/MIA Flag’ as well (Section 1082 of the 1998 Defense Authorization Act)
  • by participating in a “National Moment of Remembrance“: at 3 p.m. to pause and think upon the true meaning of the day, and for Taps to be played.
  • by renewing a pledge to aid the widows, widowers, and orphans of our falled dead, and to aid the disabled veterans.

Also, please consider adding your voice in support of the efforts to restore the traditional day of observance of Memorial Day back to May 30th (instead of “the last Monday in May”). This would help greatly to return the solemn meaning back to the day, and to help return minds and hearts to think upon the ultimate sacrifices made by those in service to our country. Just one day out of the year to honor our loved ones, our ancestors, our friends who died in conflicts and wars — not to honor war, but those that died in those conflicts and wars.I receive many emails from people expressing their thanks for those who have served and gave the ultimate sacrifice for this country. The following, received in 1999 and used with the author’s permission, sums up all the emails I have received very elegantly, and is true to the original spirit and meaning of Memorial Day.

“This weekend I am going to do something different. I am going to buy some carnations each day and go to one of the nearby cemetaries and walk through the sections for soldiers. When I find a grave that has no flowers, I’ll leave one and say a prayer for the family of that person, who for some reason could not bring their soldier flowers. I will pray for our country and all who serve or have served. For their families, who also serve by losing precious days, weeks and months spent with their loved ones who are off serving, preserving peace and the freedom we have in this country. I’ll pray for the families who paid the ultimate price, who’s loved ones died, or were taken captive and never returned. I’ll pray for anyone who may still be held in captivity and thinks perhaps they are forgotten. I do NOT forget.I’ll say a prayer for every person on the Internet who takes a moment from their time to come to sites like yours and be reminded of what this holiday really means. And I’ll say a prayer of thanks and ask God’s richest blessings on you.

Thank you again…. and God bless!
Sylvia Mohr”
