My New Morning Protein Shake
Thursday, February 14th, 2008I just got my new tub of Casein Protein (Banana Cream) by Optimum.
This is some thick stuff when mixed and will fill you up.
This morning I made my usual shake using a Banana, some frozen berries and some Orange juice. All I can Say is AWSOME and filling.
Day 16 - Pain and Chiroprator
Tuesday, February 12th, 2008Ok, did something bad by climbing over a baby-gate going up the stairs. Yeah pulled something bad, had trouble sleeping too!
Today I went to the chiropractor, was able to fix that neck pain I was having. Doing this gave me my strength back in my right arm. Got a surprise pop in my back which the chiroprator did think would be that loud(felt good). Help relieve some of the pain for the pulled muscles in the groin too.
Gotta ice the back tonight for a couple hours (on 20 min off 20 mins).
Took my Thermo Fire when I woke up this morning with a pretzel roll with cheese. Also took my Muscle Nitrous.
For lunch a soup and a roll … later some beef jerky.
Dinner I had some bake hot wings and my thermo fire. Also taken some on my BCAA mix sport drink too.
Day 15 - Chest
Monday, February 11th, 2008Took my Muscle Nitrous and some Protein (VPX) shake and hit the gym
Today was chest work out and started off with the decline bench.
6 sets of 8 reps on the decline
6 sets of 8 reps on the flat bench
8 sets of 10 reps on the fly machine
6 sets of 8 reps on the incline bench
then hit the cross-trainer for 20 mins. Jumped on the scale and was at 227 lbs.
Came home and took my sample pack of SizeOn.
Came home and had a Veggie Plater!
Then went and took the dog for a walk to pick up my little girl from school (2 miles)
Had some dinner and my thermo fire.
Day 13 OFF Day 14 Legs
Sunday, February 10th, 2008For day 13 I took my Thermo Fire, but took the day of for family photos.
Made an order out for some more supplements … going back to my SuperPump 250 and some new protein too. Plus some new BB.com t-shirts to wear to the gym.
Day 14 started off with cereal and Thermo Fire. Later went to the gym, was waiting on the wife to get back from her gym, forgot to take my Muscle Nitrous.
I hit the gym today going right into some leg workouts
6 sets of 10 reps of leg extensions (220 lbs)
6 sets of 10 reps of calf raise (90 lbs)
6 sets of 10 reps of Leg Press (220 lbs)
Then hit the cross trainer for 20 mins (level 9-11) 240 calories burned too!
Got back and started cleaning the house …
Then went for a 2 hour nature walk down by Belton dam.
Came home took my thermo Fire and dinner!
Day 12 - Shoulders
Saturday, February 9th, 2008Busy day today … took the wife over to freind house so they could go shoppin .. I needed the vehcile. Came home took my Muscle Nitrous and some protein drink. I headed to the gym for some shoulders today.
6 set of 10 reps on the Lat Pulldown machine
6 set of 10 reps on another Lat Pulldown machine (handles twisted)
6 set of 10 reps on Shoudler Shrugs curlbar
4 set of 10 reps on Dead raises / side raises (mini set)
then headed to the cross-trainer for a 20 min burn (level 9-11)
For lunch had a Calzone (leanpocket)
Wife came home so we took the baby and the dog for a walk to pick my daughter up from school (2 miles). Pretty windy outside too.
For dinner had Curry Wurst with a roll and took my Thermo Fire. Took my daughter to the park to play a little.
So I was pretty much on my feet all day yesterday, LOL
Day 11 - Back workout
Thursday, February 7th, 2008Woke up this morning and took my TF and some cereal. Took my Muscle Nitrous and hit the gym, starting out with my back workout. 6 set of 10 reps on the row machine 6 set of 10 reps on the pull down row machine 6 set of 10 reps on the lower row machine then hit the cross-trainer for 20 min (level 9-10) For lunch had some soup and a roll for diner had my TF and some salad with meat and potatoes.
Day 10 - Arms
Wednesday, February 6th, 2008Woke up took my Thermo Fire and some breakfast.
Took my VPX: Muscle Nitrous and then hit the gym.
Arm wrokout today.
6 set of 8 reps opf standing curl bar 45lbs / two-handed dumbell tricep overhead extension 50 lbs
6 set of 8 reps on the preacher curls
6 set of 8 reps on the sitting bicep curls 30 lbs / 20 lbs wrist curls
Then went and knocked out 20 min on the cross-trainer (level 9-10)
Lunch had pork chop and red cabbage.
Dinner had Large Salad and my Thermo Fire.
Day 9 of Thermo Fire testing
Tuesday, February 5th, 2008Today was Chest workout. Woke up and had a small bowl of cereal.
Took my TF and VPX: Muscle Nitrous before workout.
9 sets of 8 reps on the decline bench
6 sets of 8 reps on the flat bench
9 sets of 8 reps of butterfly machine
6 sets of 8 reps on the incline bench
This time I did my cardio workout after my weight training … wow … big difference … real got a good sweat going. almost 240 calories in 20 mins. Got home and made a VPX Carb Zero protein shake (yes, plain).
