Today marks a big step in my military career as I get promoted to Staff Sergeant. This means that I will be able to stay in the military till retirement.

Well was at the gym this afternoon and decided to jump on the scale … 237 lbS!!!!! Holy Crap!!!!! I gained 5 freakin’ pounds.
Went back to the room and pulled out the tape measure. Calculated my numbers. Oh wait I’m still at the same BF% … COOL!!! I gained 5 lbs of muscle!

Well last night was chest and back. Started off with the butterfly machine and the row machine for a double set. Then moved over to the Back machine and cable machine to work more back. All 12 sets (8 Reps)
Last was over to the three benches (decline, flat and incline). I went and changed it a up just a little bit. I opted for barbell (50lbs) to do my 12 sets (8 reps) sets on the incline and flat bench . . . major notice there. Finished on the delcine bench with regular bar (135 lbs) 12 sets, 8 reps
Awesome workout, had trouble putting my coat on, LOL!!!!!!

Well, the cutoff scores for DEC are out and I MADE THE LIST. So I will be getting promoted to E-6 on the 1st of DEC!!!!!!!

Ok, workout going great, little pain in my elbow, I’ll get over it … maybe.
NOW, my eating habits went to crap this week, I was eating things that I enjoy …. Lots of Chicken curry and rice, chicken tenders and poppers … not very many salads. Got on the scale today after I woke up and gained 3 lbs and my BF% went back up to 21%.
I only got a couple of months left here in Iraq and I so much wanna lose more BF% but also gain more muscle mass. The 12 sets routine is really helping out in a bunch of areas, but not where it counts the most. I think one of my main problems is that I can not run or work out the abs like I want due to my back injuries. UGH!
So it looks like I have to go hardcore on NOT eating the food I like.

Well, this whole week I have been hittin git hard in the gym with the 12 sets per exercise. I try to do about 3 exercise per muscle group. Going to stick with it for the rest of this month. THinking about moving to one major muscle group a day, cause with two groups I’m spending up to two hours in the gym. Time I’m not going to have when I get back to the states.
Now to figure out this weird pain in my left inside elbow . . . doing some checkin around on the net. Look like golfer’s elbow … kinda like tennis elbow (outside). I can really feel it when I start wroking out, but kinda goes numb once I’m working out. Went to splash some water on my face and could hardly get my left elbow to bend inwards. I would go to the aid station … but I’ve been in long enough to know that if it isn’t bleeding or falling off then I must be fine. Medic …. gotta love’em!

Ok last night was crazy, took two scoops of SuperPump250 along with my Animal Pak before my Chest and Back Night. I was able to up the weight a little bit and still knock out my 12 sets on the flat bench. Then I freakin knocked out 12 set each on the Incline and Decline benches too. Then knock out 12 sets on the back pull machine and 6 sets of cable downward crossovers. Knocked out 7 sets of cable back rows and 12 set of butterfly machine. Freakin awesome, afterward had a two scoop of my protein shake before bed. Woke up this morning still a little sore . . . but freakin feeling that, can’t wait for Arm and Shoulders tonight!!

Just got my new set of suppements in: SuperPump250 and Gluntamine Select (and a free watter bottle, thanks BB.com).
Only problem I see with taken SuperPump250 is that I do my weight training right after work (0100 in the morning). After I work out I take my protein shake and then head to bed. Label says not to take 4 hrs before bed.
I have tried NO Xplode around the same time and still went to sleep with no problem, guess I’ll have to see.
Anyways, can’t wait to hit the gym tomorrow, today is my day off. Already starting to see a little difference with just the Animal Pak, Animal Flex and S.A.N. Tight this week. Can’t wait to see what happen after a week of this stuff added in too!!!
