Ouch … Competition

OK, did the competition … there were four other guys in my weight-class. Damn those guys were big, looks like they were working out for a while too. ANYWAYS!!!

I started right off the bat with 300 lbs … no problem. Went for 315 lbs, ok this guy know nothing about a helping lift off. After he let go I had to straight the bar back out … WTF!!! Then as I brought down the bar and was pushing back up, my lower back rolled off the back …. right across the muscle …. OH YEAH …. I’m done!!!! OH WELL!!!!

It was fun . . . I got out there and tired!!! 

 

Competition Time … What the Hell!!

Well, today I signed up for the Halloween Bench Press Competition tomorrow, today was the weigh-in. I hit the scale at 228 lbs.

Been here in Iraq since Jan, never really did anything while I was here for fun, so this will be my first. Plus something to put on my BodySpace.

Also, just took my first sets of my new supplements, so far so good, no stomach aches or anything. getting ready to hit the gym for some Cardio here in half an hour.

Oh yeah, losing my brand new workout partner, they are sending him out to another FOB. AAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!! Back to working out alone again, maybe this will push me more to do the 12 set routines with lighter weight?

Just got my first box in of my new supplements, Animal Pak, Animal Flex and SAN Tight.

Looks like I have at least a month and half worth of supplies, so this is great.

Day - 17 thru 20

Yeah, haven’t been blogging in a few days. My workout is slowly blowing me off, he says he doesn’t sleep much and is tooooo tired to workout.
Day 17 was Chest and Back . . . even on my own I knock out 12×12 with 155lb (4 set, 12 reps each on the flat, decline and incline bench. Feel the Burn!!!

Day 18 was Arms and Shoulder . . . on my own again, knock out 4 sets a piece. Then threw two 25 plates on the curlbar (115 lbs) for 3 set of 3. I tired for a 4th rep but couldn’t do it. LOL!!!!

Day 19 was Legs . . . on my own again . . . knocked out 4-5 set for the legs. easy night.

Also did my cardio on each day as well . . . 20 min on the bike and change up daily between the Cross Trainer and the Treadmill (20 mins, resistance 8)

Day 20 is my off day, did all my measurement and weight-in for updating my bodyspace page. This is also my last day on Animal Cuts.

Tight + Animals

Well, last night I made out a order for some new supplements. I ordered Animal Flex, Animal Pak and S.A.N. Tight.

Still trying to drop this extra BF%, Animal Cuts is just not cutting it. I have lost some weight, but that was after I started doing two salads a day (lunch and dinner). Funny thing is I lost 6 lbs, gut is still the same size, but lost almost an inch of the neck (even doing neck weight exercises).

Since I have back problems that almost got me kicked out of the military, I’m not allowed to Run or do Sit-ups. I’ve started doing crunches again and some out stuff that doesn’t cause my back to make the snap, crack and pop sounds(partial fusion in lower back, bone loss, bone thinning and partial slipped disc). Gut justing want to go away and with the way we do tapes(BF%) my BF% is going back up!! AGHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Day - 16 Legs + -3lbs

Well, got up this morning and went and weighed myself…. dropped 3 more lbs, down to 227lb, thanks to my neck losing size my BF% is still the same.

Legs was quick last night . . . legs extension, calf raises, leg press w/ more calf raises.

This afternoon was 30 min on the bike and 20 min on the treadmill. Went and did a bunch of crunches and elbow-to-knee as well. I think my new abs muscles are pushing my fat out . . . not losing any inches on my waist . . . but still dropping weight.

Still on Animal Cuts til sunday and eating salad for Lunch and dinner.

Day - 15 Arms and Shoulders

Well Today was arms and shoulders, actually did a four set this time. Shoulders on the other hand, my partner didn’t want to do the rack shrugs, so made him do four extra set on the regular shrug machine. LOL!!! He was hurtin’!!!!!

Might not have my partner for much longer do to him leave to go some place else. He already said that I need to find another partner on the fact that I’m lift a lot more weight then him. LOL!!!

Did my cardio again this afternoon, 20 min bike, 20 min crosstrainer, plus did a 100 crutches too.

Since Sunday I’ve been only eating salads for lunch and dinner, still taken the Animal Cuts as well. Breakfast, which is lunch, I try to have a good meal (nothing fried). Veggies, Carbs and meat. Trying this Salad thing til this Sunday, see how the weight and BF goes. I actually like the salad . . . keeping my system clean out too . . . LOL!!!!!

SUCKS, promotion points went up for my MOS, so I’m not getting promoted next month. Hopefully they drop again after the fiscal year.

Day -14 Chest & Back 12×12

Well last night was Chest and Back . . . tried to do the 12×12. Basically did 4 sets on each bench … flat, decline, incline and did 12 reps per set. Oh I felt that crap!!!

On the rest of my exercises I did 4 set, 12 reps instead of the typical 3 sets, 10 reps

So learning that lifting heavy all the time isn’t always the best way to get bigger. Also this helps with toning as well.

Also knocked this afternoon my Cardio on the bike for 20 minute 8 resistance, and for the first time in a long long time, all the cross trainers were being used today. So I jumped on the Treadmill for 20 mins.

Day 12 - 13 Leg & Rest

So due to work schedule I have to knock out my leg and cardio together, which I spent over two hour in the gym. So I put up 135 lb on the leg raise machine 4 set of 10 reps. Used the leg press machine for calf raise too.

Borrow one the scale with a built in BF% reading in it. When I got up and tested it it said I was at 20.5 BF% . . . OK not to bad . . . go hit the gym, take a shower again. Dropped a pound … LOL … WTF!!!! Now it says I’m 32% BF . . . tried it again this morning … same thing. WTF!!!!

Military Cal. has me a 22% BF

Health Central scale is 19.3% BF

BI method scale is 32% BF 

I’m on my last week of "Animal Cuts" weeks starting today. SO far I have gain 2% BF and and half in on my guy so far. Guess I hit this last week super hardcore . . . Rabbit Diet!!!

 

 

Day -11 105 lbs Curl-bar

Today was Arms and Shoulders . . . and I’m still increasing the weight. Durning the shoulder shrugs I cranked it up to 185 lbs from normal 135 lbs . . . my lifting partner was like NO WAY!!!! Then after all our set for arms and shoulders were done I grabbed a couple of 45 lbs plates and threw them onto the curl bar . . . again partner was like know way. Grabbed that freakin thing and did two set of three, just too see how it felt . . . forearms were a little sore . . . Felt Freakin awesome. Told my partner to give it a try . . . he picked it up and put right back down . . .LOL!!!!

 Anyways this afternoon , knocked out my cardio with the Bike and Crosstrainer, 20 min each. Abs are sore from the hanging leg up last night, plus they had the room going for woman’s defense classes.
