Me ranting( but it is something to think about maybe)
This is just some stuff that bothers me and i know i can’t be the only one who feels like this. ok so this is me 5ft 7in and i am about 159 lbs and have 24 bmi and am about 27% bodyfat and I was bored at work today(im jus a intern so i have no real work to do) so i looked up body types and according to my size and stuff i am overweight and boarderline obese. I MEAN C’MON NOW I AM NOW OBESE OR OVERWEIGHT IM HEALTHY. I am also about a size 9 in juniors and everytime i see a commercial or magazine and it says things like i went from a size 10 to a size for it just urks my nerves because it makes me think wat is wrong with a 9 i mean look at my progress pics i dont see nething wrong i mean i want more tone but im definately done trying to jus plan lose weight. but neways i would love for other ppl to tell me how they feel about stuff like this and I would love to here from men, women, everybody of all sizes

obviously not a woman. but that the problem with alot of ads, they make you feel inferior if you’re not a certain size etc. thats why weightloss is a billion dollar business. but it goes both ways too. men are also made to feel bad if they don’t look a certain way.

I understand where your comming from, those bmi charts ect are not accurate at all. If I listened to them I would litterally not be able to walk. I know soldiers that are really muscluar and the army looks at them as fat because they go according to that chart with all this technology I htink the electronic ones should be utilised more often to deter this unrealistic thinking!!! Im kinda proud to mention how much I weight because when I tell ppl that they totally flip out they would never believe it!! They always guess Im like 160 or so…

Tim was right, advertisements are geared towards one thing… to get you to spend money. Don’t stress, you’re looking great and as long as you keep a positive attitude towards your health you’ll look as good as you feel.
