7 Minute Mile

So I am now able to run a 7 minute mile which is crazy in itself b/c I hate running! ^^ I must admit though after I made that accomplishment I am beginning to like it a lot more. I can contribute all of this as a result from the the High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) I’ve been doing this past month.
Something happened to me yesterday that hasn’t happened to me before; I experienced what people call a "cold sweat". I was sweating like a mofo and felt cold. It lasted only 10-15 minutes but it was a trip! I Googled it and they say shortness of breath causes it which is weird b/c I was breathing how I normally do when I run. It also states that it could also be a result from bad joints but I KNOW that’s not the case - I’m having no problems there.

I’m gonna keep an eye on it though. I think I’m going to start wearing my heart monitor when I run too [thumbs up and wink]. ^_^
I’m going to continue focusing on running until I can complete a 5 minute mile. Wish me luck! </end code>

    That’s funny. You sound like me. I hate running too, but end up doing it about 3x/wk. It is too easy. on with the shoes and out teh door. Set a personal best in a half marthon Sept 7 as well. My trainer tells me I should shoot for a 7 min mile. I keep telling her that I don’t like running. :-)
