Shoulder day

Shoulder day and it went great.  I have had very little pain in shoulder and packed on a little more weight today.  I am not pushing it too hard.  I like the toned ripped look and that’s what I’m working for.  Put twenty minutes on the bike and then rested the rest of the day.  Working late at school and will go see the kids later on tonight.  I hope they recognize me because of how pumped my shoulders are right now, they might think I’m a superhero or something. lol.  good day

Hitting hit

I’ve had some great motivation lately, caught my wife cheating.  Hit the gym hard and have been feeling great, despite the whole wife thing.  Today I hit back and biceps.  Felt the burn and loved it.  Shoulder felt great afterwards also.  Nutrition is going fine.  I am 189 and will have to get my fat percentage taken soon so I can see the progress.  I am also taking some time for the abs.  thin layer of fat won’t allow them to pop through though.  i am going to have to diet hard for that to happen.

Just Getting Started

Thursday workout was enjoyable.  I woke up refreshed, ate some egg whites and oatmeal, and then hit the gym.  I did some light back and bicep work.  I worked out for about 50 45 minutes and then rode the bike for twenty.  My triceps were still sore from yesterday…good sign I actually did something.  I am trying my hand at golf which is kind of funny because my patience is short at this point.  Fourth time out this summer and actually driving the ball straight everyonce in a while.  My wife and I are going through a seperation so working out, running, and golf take my  mind off the situation and helps me torture my body instead of my mind.  I finished the day hitting one of those Bill W. meetings and then ran three miles.  The cardio will make it hard for me to gain weight but I would rather be ripped and see a six pack.  I also fear lifting too heavy due to two shoulder surgeries.  I don’t want to screw that up again.  All in all a good day.  I have the kids and they are sleeping and looking peaceful.  I am blessed.
