Finally done with exams and did not get too much done frankly with regards to my lifting. I still managed to stick my diet as best i could and that has resulted in loss of weight. Not as much as i’d like but it comes with time i guess.
I think with the loss of fats, more muscle definition is coming into place. Especially like how the quads are turning out. I do squats with 4 sets of 12 reps @ 80pounds( 2dumbbells @40lbs each) and work my calf exercise into it. I simply do a tip=toe action at the top and hold for a sec and come back down. Perhaps i can atribute that to my slow-but-sure calves development.
Still wating for boxing day to get my dor chin/pull up bar. have decided to go ahead with creatine as well. Erm..thats about for now. Oh, still looking for a split workout. I think i’m going to find one by the new year starts and am going to follow it starting January in the new year.
In the meanwhile, Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year to who ever is reading. I wish you success in all your aims and ambitions!
Cheers,
Rah
P.S: A lil sum’n sum’n thats got me laughing ma balls off:

well so much for updating every 2-3 weeks. I did not even manage to start proper after my previous post. I was out of protein and was waiting on a shipment which took 2 weeks to come. Could have gotten from the local store but it was way cheaper to ship it from the states..saved about $40 approximately!
Now that aside, i ahve made some progress. Weights have been increased with every exercise. Also, i’ve changed up my workout a little. This is what i would normally do and what i began with:
http://www.building-muscle101.com/dumbbell-workout-routine.html
I think it worked great up till a certain point. That is to be expected however as now more effort needs to be put to see more gains. I also concluded that my body had adapted to this so tried working the same muscles in the same order but substituted the workouts with ones i’d found online that worked the same muscle group. My new challange is to find a split workout that can be done in 3 days, at home. I’m looking to invest in a chinup/pullup bar for the door over boxing-week so should be able to better work my upperbody. If you have any links/resources of split workouts that can be done at home with weights, bench and a pullup/chinup bar, send it my way!
Also thinking of creatine at this stage. My muscles give way too fast for me to get a proper workout. Perhaps i’m using heavier weights but that should be fine. I should let the sets take care of themselves, i read. That if i usually do 3 sets of 8, i can do 4 sets of 5 instead. Even that seems impossible sometimes so perhaps am not consuming enough calories/carbs/water? Is creatine the way to go you think? If i eat at proper times, the right portion of carbs/fibres/fats/protein, and drink plenty of water, would i be able to get by without creatine if my fitness goals don’t necessarily consist of me being majorly pumped like a major pro body builder? Let me know!
Ok those were my concerns and progress so far i guess..l8er!
