Haters
It’s going to be harder to eat every 2 1/2 - 3 hours at work because I have someone who is looking to get me into trouble for any reason that he can think of to make himself look better.
Just as a side note so that you can understand where I am coming from is that I work taking calls to assist with technical support with cell phones. I sit attached to my desk all day taking calls. Getting away from my desk is hard enough to do just when going to the bathroom. Now I guess I am going to have to do it even more in order to eat.
I use to just eat at my desk. Never anything awful like fish or tune. I always make sure I save that for my time away from my desk. This prick is going to do what ever he can to make this hard on me. I’m not going to let him hold me back. I have been nice for to long. There is really time time in my life for all this mess. I’m better than this.
Eating clean and pushing away all the junk food is hard enough at work (but, really it’s getting easier as each day goes by) but to have to watch my back because of him is just not right. I guess everyone has to go through this at some point…or maybe every day…I don’t know.
What would you do in my situation? Please don’t get me fired…lol

One word: Supplements. You have an absolutely perfect situation to use them. You eat before work. Mid-morning supplement. Take a lunch. Mid-afternoon supplement. Then you’re home for dinner. I make two shakes in the morning for my "mid" day snacks. They are liquid and take me all of 30 seconds to drink. If you’re on the phone just drink while the other person is talking and voila, problem solved.

I just eat at my desk anyway! I work in IT too and some days its nearly impossible to get away from my desk so I just eat there. The way I figure it, they can put up with the food or they can let me take a proper break. Its not like we’re one of the smokers going off every hour for a cigarette and coming back reeking of smoke. Don’t let this guy mess with your goals.

there are always people like that guy around it seems…definitely don’t let him get in your way…you can bring things to eat that don’t need refrigeration, bring water, protein powder, cut up veggies, canned chicken (but it has a lot of salt)…protein bars…canned ready to drink protein shakes…etc…any effort you put into cutting out the junk food will be well worth it!!

damien12341 ~ I would agree but my schd. is not that easy…I work from noon - 11pm 4 days a week. I can drink and I use to eat between the customer talking or trying to download something. I can have shakes but they get old sometime. I will make it work one way or another though.
CaffeineChic ~ I could not agree with you more. Just to be on the safe side though I think I will get a note from my doctore to let them know about my "frequent bathroom breaks" and they I have to eat every 2 1/2 to 3 hours. I have to cover all bases with them.
ArmdandFabulous ~ I keep a cooler at my desk for the most part. This is a guy who is saying something about me eating almonds between calls. He’s just a major loser!

jmorris4 ~ Your right! I have to only worry about myslef and there is no reason to worry about what he is going to do. All I can do is worry about myself.

Plan ahead to save time! I prep all of my meals the night before and carry them in a small cooler/lunch box. They can be warmed up in minutes whenever I have a break in action at work. Planning out your meals also helps to avoid temptation by the "unhealthies" that you work around. If I have my lunch with me already, it lessens the chance of saying yes to the fast food run.
CaffeineChic hit the nail on the head with the smokers…if they can take a fifteen to slowly kill themselves, then you can take one to eat healthy.
