Diet - Carbs - Cheat Meals

So, I have decided that I may not compete this year.  This being the case, I have upped my carbs a bit and I have had some cheat meals.  I still diet though for the most part.  I do cardio, just not as much as I did.  I have only gained a few pounds but I tend to lose it right away as well.  I assume this is mostly water weight.  Basically, I feel that my diet now is effective and I look better even.  Could this be due to carbing up and carbing down constantly.  Is this a good means to retain/build muscle while shedding fat?  My basic goal is to drop to about 6-7% bodyfat for the summer and maybe if I get lower and funds allow me, compete.

WOO!!! MORNING CARDIO!!!!

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!! MORNING CARDIO!!!!!!!!!!  I’m sooo tired…  Gah… Lipo-6 keeps me awake however.  That stuff gets to work fast on an empty stomach!  Anyhow… I’m jogging for half an hour in the morning before school.  Just started today.  As it stands now, I can’t get to the gym in the morning yet….  So it’s up and down the road.  It works though.  No one drives on the road, and even fewer people live on it.  So, with my PSP in my pocket blasting some DRAGONFORCE or some other musical encouragement, I jog away- checking my heart rate every few seconds, almost obsessively on my cool new HR monitoring watch!  $40 at Walmart.  I’m sure I probably got ripped off, but oh well. I needed one fast.  So, only being able to get to sleep around midnight or later, puts my energy in short supply.  WOO for Caffiene Anhydrous!  And Naps.  If I’m too tired, I try to get in an hour’s worth of sleep before my afternoon - evening weight training.  I work alot so, this isn’t always possible.  I just need life to calm down a  bit.  I don’t have time for anything.  My sleep time is the last bit of time I have to give.

Well…. Beverly’s Creatine Select is working wonders.  I am noticing strength and endurance increases.  Just like they promised.  It’s much more effective than any other creatine I’ve tried.  Doesn’t taste too bad either.  It’s not good, but mixed with water it’s not bad.  I tried putting a scoop in my mouth and chasing it with diet coke….. I gagged three times before I swallowed it.  BAD IDEA.  Anyhow…….. I am pasty.  I need a tan.  I am going to try and get one.  All of the pictures I take end up looking like a ghost.  I need a tan.

I NEED CARBS!  I have lowered my carbs significantly.  Only 200 per day.  Opposed to the 400 minimum I was eating a few weeks ago.  I’m noticing slight strength decreases and my efforts seem a bit more labored.  It’s not too bad though, I still get pumps pretty easily.
