Well Hello There

daviess

Thought I’d drop a quick line.

MY contest prep was going perfect. Then I went away from home for a cpl weeks, and struggled to stay on the strictness, and get back into it when I got home (don’t leave home when you are in Prep BTW…very hard).

So anyways, this is ok.. I guess. I would just have to up my cardio. But I still may have to pick a later show date, as my ankle will not heal! I rolled it last month, and if anyone has rolled an ankle before..they know it keeps rolling easy. I bought a brace which seems to be helping. but the big problem is I CAN NOT STAND IN HIGH HEELS!! Let alone walk :(    The angle is brutal for pain. What could I do? Some sort of physio?

Well anyways, I am going to continue to train 5-6 days a week. And diet as well as I know how.. and see how I look and feel come June 2. If I am not ready for that one there are others all summer/fall.

I am really considering Keto for my contest diet. Any thoughts from people who have done this?

I know what you’re talking about when it comes to high heels. I haven’t even rolled my ankle recently, but I still look less-than sexy walking around in my high heels…..oops, did I write that outloud?………..JK
I did mush my ankle about ten years ago, and really the only thing that enabled me to get around were high-top steel-toe work boots. Seemingly, that type of injury takes forever.
