ever since the month of september has hit, I have started to hit the pavement. for the past past month I have been running on average 3.5 miles per day in addition to the 5 hours of tennis per week. the running has helped in may ways to improve the look of my body ,as well as, the way my body feels. I am faster, stronger, wiser, and damn it I look good. The running has also hepled me to clear my head. I am less stressed than normal and I workout better. Intially I was reluctant about running because it seemed redundant and boring, but since I have broke free from the clutched of the treadmill I realized just how fun and uplifting running is. I guess it is true that the benifits of running out weigh the cons on any day, and for me that is quite alright. If you have similar experiences similar to mine please feel free to post a comment or 2 on this blog.

Since i last wrote a blog entry I kinda sorta changed in the way I aproach this whole weight loss thing. for starters my cardio has went from being one dimensional to multifaceted (I am now preparing to run my first 5k marathon son wish me luck). I lift more weight at the same time I lift more weight at higher weight. I am more excited about hitting the gym because of the strenght i have gained and some of the friend I have made at the gym that are in there working as hard as i am. Even so i have a workout partner named Ted who is not afraid to help me push the limts in and out of the gym. Now I realize the importance of working as hard on the diet as it is when it come to working hard physically in the gym. so yeah, it’s been a while since I wrote my last post, but the time in between has great for me mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually.
As always I hope my post inspires or encourages someone to contiue to workhard and acheive their body goals.

I have been training very hard for the past couple of months and all of sudden sunday night happened.while playing tennis with a good friend i finally realized how all of the hard training was paying off. I was quicker on the court. i had an extra pep ion my step, i was stricking the ball with power precision and acuracy, and most important I was ready to go an extra 2 hours eventhough i had been playing for 2 hours already. soin some case (in particulary mine) you may not see it on the body yet, but watch me move and you too will realized that I put the work at the gym.

in the past couple of months I have been both good and bad. well mostly good but with some very bad elements.
1) i am as fit as I have ever been in my entire life, but on the other hand I am becoming more unmotivated due to the lack of substatial change body. (I quess I want results now, especially with the amount of work I am putting in).
2) i pay attention to my body lot more due to some recent injuries to my left leg, yet i let my injuries get me to be lazy on some days and not go to the gym. on top of that I feel i am somewhat limited to what i can do in the gym or outdoors (yes I work out in the out doors sometimes good for vitimin D intake and helps burn the fat a little bit more.
3) i was very dedicated to taking the supps quite well, then I ran out of supps and haven’t taken the time to buy more
4) I watch what i eat everyday except on cheat day (but even on cheat days I am very concious of what goes into the body), yet I have a real bad tendency of not watching how much I eat or when I eat.
5) i have been playing a lot of tennis (minimal 2 hours on court), but with all of that tennis i tend to overeat right after a good session, i figure my body needs the caleries.
so yeaaah, I do need to make some serios adjustment if i want to be like my new inspiration bwestgat whose body is just plain killer .

it has been a month into the new year, and as far as goals are concern it has been somewhat of a let down. I probaly put on more muscle than what i intended at the same time I will admit i have not worked as hard as i need to on the diet as I should. matter of fact what i should done is taken the the same aproach and dedication i do in the gym and tennis courts and apply them to the intake of foods. Also should have taken a different approach to the total person, and not just the body. I should have avoid the pitfalls of mental breakdowns, I should have not let those things affect improving the body of darran champs, I should been more acertive with the diet, should have just done better altogether in janurary. but as much as i am beating myself up over spoiled milk i have to remember that in this month i have doing 45min to an hour of cardio per day, i squated over 400lbs for the first time, and i am starting to have a positive outlook on the whole body transformation thing ( it only works if you put the time and effort into it). Yes there is a slight improvement, but I know deep down inside I should have done a whole lot better.

I have actuallly been good at the diet plan, you know, reducing calories, laying off of starchy foods, working out daily, doing the cardio, and having a cheat day or 2. but now i must begin adding supplement to enhance the plan. diet and excercise alone will not help me achieve the things i need to achieve with out the help of supplements to boost my metabolisim and bring out my hard working muscles. yes it is time to supplement, any suggestion let me know.

since the holiday season has come upon us I have been working really hard to ensure that i don’t gain the dreaded holiday fifteen. so far i doing a good job because i am lifting more weight, doing more excersises, and working really hard to ensure that the cardio stays at a high level (instead of doing the HIIT training i have wnet back to running at one speed for about 20-30min). with that in mind i have decided to for go the whole stupid new years resolution thing. i mean, come on people, what person do you know that has really stuck to a new year’s resolution. as of this date i have seen nada, squadouch, zippo, no one stick to it at all. Most people i have seen at the gym or outside of the gym say they are going to make a concerted effort to lose the weight, but jan. 1 rolls around and 2 weeks later they quit at it because of some excues prevent them from doing it full on. look I am not a great philosopher, but i figure why put off something for tommorrow when you you can do it today. for the record, when I started attacking my weight goals it happened at an odd time when i knew somthing had to be done to change society’s outlook on me, but i didn’t wait till a new year to do it. So, for anybody out there reading this blog post, don’t wait, get started now.
p.s. I don’t know you all, but I am craving some pizza, to bad i can’t have it right now

I writing this post to remind myself to not over do it on thanksgiving, matter of fact just don’t do it on thanksgiving. in the the past i would have ate a house and a home, but since coming to this web site I have ended that horiible tradition and replaced it with tennis at at dinner time, and giving my food away to those who really need it, especially in these hard economic times for us fellow americans. also seeing certain transformations only motivates me to work harder in the gym and tennis courts, and somehow keep the diet tight (80% of weight loss envolves what we put in our mouths). So yeah at this time i am staying committed to excellence an in building a better mind, body and spirit.
p.s. comments are welcomed
