Rotator feeling better with more time in the gym
So, here i am a few weeks back after a layoff of many months due to my terrible, awful, treacherous, painful injury. The first day of chest and shoulders, I was hurting. I was actually afraid maybe I re injured it, but to my surprise, I woke up the next morning feeling great. It’s gotten better from there. I am a little sensitive to it, so I take it easy on my shoulder when it starts to hurt. But generally, I think getting back to the gym is helping the healing. It may just be that I’m stretching it out more and re strengthing the surrounding muscles. Wish me continued luck!

What happened to your rotator? I think i’m going through the same ordeal. Can you describe the pain and what was the cure?

I pulled my rotator. A pull, according to my physical therapist, is MORE painful that a tear. Once it tears, it actually relieves the strain, thus feeling a little better. I pulled mine using dull bolt cutters over my head to cut a lock. I can tell you this, it is VERY painful (moving or not) and takes many months or even years to heal. The treatment for a strain is ice and physical therapy. The treatment for a tear is surgery. Let me know how it turns out for ya. Good luck, I’ll pray for ya!
