Like anyone needs another reason to HATE tow truck drivers/companies:

My wife parks her car in a tow-away zone.  It gets towed, fair enough.  Unfortunately they tow the car from the rear with the front wheels on the ground and it's a front wheel drive vehicle.  The transmission is ruined.  She pays the towing fee only to find the car will not go in reverse.  The owner of the tow company tells me 3 lies:  I am not the owner, I do not have insurance, most of the fees are for the storage lot.  He refuses to refund me the towing fee AND refuses to repair my vehicle.  He won't return my calls or respond to e-mails.  To add insult to injury he tells me "None of this would have happened if you didn't park there."  Meanwhile I've had to get another tow company to remove my car from the lot and deliver it to my mechanic.  I've had to file a claim with MY insurance to get a rental and pay to have the car repaired.

This idiot has no idea what is about to happen to him legally.  I've already filed a formal complaint with the Texas State Licensing and Enforcement department.  They are responsible for exactly this type of issue.  My insurance company will come after him since this really isn't their liability.  He'll end up reimbursing me for all my costs + damages as spelled out in the law.  The apartment complex from where the car is towed has cancelled their contract with him.  The thunder is comming and he's to stupid to know it.  What was he thinking?  I'll f*ck up this guys car, give him the middle finger, and there's not a da*ned thing he can do about it?  Buddy, time is not on your side.
