Carbs and metabolism question
A few weeks ago I really lowered my carb intake... I'm talking 150 grams on a good day. I made progress for about 1 maybe two weeks but then the progress drastically fell off even after I increased my activity. The only thing I can think of is my metabolism slowed down due to lack of carbs AND overall hypocaloric diet. I've since changed my diet and now am eating more carbs and overall more calories with the hopes that this will cause me to lose weight! Am I thinking correctly?
I would love to know what people say about this. I started carb cycling 2 weeks ago doing 5 days low (65) 1 day med (114) 1 day high (195) with calories falling between 1550 and 1700 a day. It has happened both weeks that around day 3 of low carb I don't lose anything else the rest of the week. I have been wondering if I need to change up something. Maybe someone answering your post will give me insight, too! I hope you get your diet working for you the way you want!
