I have decided to do the Mountaineer, for several reasons, 1. I LOVE BOONE, 2. It’s affordable for me, 3. It’s keeps me in shape over the summer. I honestly feel like I could do this show every year! So, my plan this summer is to get tighter and not any more muscular. MAYBE I will do nationals since they are in Atlanta, driving distance, maybe I will do the elite, but first up on my list is THE MOUNTAINEER!!!

I am so happy for it to be Tuesday evening! I am really excited about this show and I think my conditioning is better than it ever has been. And, my butt is not flat! Normally by the time I am carb depleated my butt gets flat, but I really focused on squats and dead lifts so it must have worked to build the muscle. I must admit, I really love squats. It has been a love that has grown on me, but I do, I love them.

Keep it all in perspective. Don’t focus on winning but focus on being better than last time. Then if I win it’s more exciting and I am not let down. I think in a sport that is subjective you have to be realistic or you will not last. This is a business and that is the way you have to treat it.

FINALLY! My bodyfat moved, I’m in the single digets with an estimated 3 pounds to lose, and some water. That will bring me in right at 8% which is perfect for me. And it looks like I will have about 3 more pounds of muscle, which is good for me, and for figure. 12 more days, I’m really getting excited! And I cannot tell you all how great my suits are. Tamara Oakly, from Columbus, Ohio made them. Check her out: www.bikiniguru.com.

Almost 15 days out becasue it is night time. Maybe I should count down how many cardio sessions I have left, ha ha! I’m feeling pretty good, grumpy at time, but not tired yet. Cardio is OK, weight training is pretty tough. I’m happy with where I am, I feel on target. My legs still have to come down some, which always ends up being in the last 2 weeks. Then, pull the water and dump on the tan!

I’m really anxious for this show. I am excited and nervous all at the same time. I have decided to do Jr. USA for sure, UGH, another month of dieting. Oh well, plenty of time for fun this summer. Plus I’m getting new suits so I might as well wear them. I welcome all positive thoughts and comments!
