Some advice from me
Thursday, October 11th, 2007My legs have always thrown off the overall look of my physique. This past year I gave real strong attention to not gaining too much weight, and to lengthening my hamstrings. I don’t think my hams have ever really been weak, but I also feel like they were short and tight. So, I made special effort to really lift up on them when I strethch, which basically means sticking out and up my butt. Something that really helped in lengthening them was the yoga pose, downward facing dog. So, my hams really did come out this year, my rear-end tightened up and my goal for next year is to zero in on it even more, especially that glute-ham tie in. Futhermore, having lengthened hams like that really paid off in back training. I feel so much more balanced. There’s my 2 cents for the day!
