Hmmm. Scale or scales?

Once again I’m looking for an additional two-pound decrease to appear on my digital scales this coming Wednesday. That would put me at 155 if the two pounds was knocked off last Wednesday’s number, however it looks like I’ve actually gained a pound.

Not especially surprised because the previous Tuesday I had eaten only 905 calories, had stopped drinking water early that evening, and had actually gotten up an hour early simply to spit     away a few ounces. HA! If you read my one previous blog maybe you thought I was kidding.  So, yeah, the 157 was illusory. Oooooh, wait a minute, izzat a word?

Google sez illusory means "deceptive; unreal" and that seems to be what it was. We’ll see what the scale says in about 32 hours.

This Wednesday, October 10, marks the end of the seventh week of my current eating plan.

    Curt, 905 calories, are’nt you getting tired? A little down, Buffalo had that game tonight, we lost another one on the last play. Anyway TKD is quite a good workout. OK, i have to go tobed..

    Not tired. I’m thinking that at about 160 lbs. I don’t need that many calories to fuel the machine. And at age 45 I might be heading into that Land Of Less Sleep. Seems like older people can get by on five or six hours of sleep while teens and 20somethings need a lot more? I don’t know. I do know I want to strip MORE bodyfat - especially from my midsection. Unfortunately, I keep reading you can’t target specific areas. Dammit! :)

    Sorry to hear about Buffalo.

    And, yeah, martial arts has always seemed like a great idea, like learning a foreign language (only you can use it to kick major a$s! i KEED!). Just have never had the discipline to pursue the sport/training.
