Happy Hump Day Everyone!

So if anyone has seen my You Tube video on my page, they now that I listed the top 10 reasons why I wanted to lose weight. One of them was how much it sucked to have to wear women’s sizes and not being able to share clothes or go shopping with my friends. Well NO MORE!! I am so excited to announce that this weekend I accomplished one of my goals. My best friend and I went shopping TOGETHER for the first time in at least 4 years. And the best part was, we were trying on some of the same dresses, in the same sizes. It sounds kinda trivial, but it was a huge accomplishment for me. I cant remember the last time I was able to do that. Anyhow, it has rekindled the motivation that sometimes needs a little breeze to get it going again. Im in this for the long haul….see ya later fat…we are through!

Thats all for now!
Cheers y’all… Thanks again for all the loving support!

PS If I can do it….then anyone can.

Sometimes the Idea is better than the real thing

Happy Monday fellow Bodyspacers.

So this weekend was my birthday. I worked my a** off for the last 30 days to get to my goal and my reward was to have birthday cake and a cheat meal at Cheesecake Factory. Anything I wanted. Drinks food, etc… I just have to say this…although it all tasted delicious…it was not as gratifying as I thought it would be. I actually was kinda over it. What I realized was that I had finally changed. I don’t want the junk anymore. I want to eat clean and feed my body nutritious, healthy things. Now don’t get my wrong…it doesnt mean I won’t crave this stuff again in the future, or that I have sworn off sugar or fried foods for good. It just means that I finally found a place for this stuff. And no longer will I use it for self medication or binging….So take that carbs and fat….our relationship is purely platonic now. Its seriously like having closure to a bad relationship. Sometimes you have to go back for one last romp, to know its not what you really want in life.

 Have a great week everyone!!

Taking a break from booze

Happy Thursday Y’all

I have been on an intense workout/diet program for the last 25 days, and I have to say the craziest thing about it is the response I get from people when I tell them Im not drinking right now? If you can believe it, I’ve still managed to go out and have fun. But time and time again people ask me, "where is your drink, or can I buy you a drink, or why are you not drinking" Is it just me or do they make you feel like you are crazy or something. Like in order to go out on a saturday night and have fun…you have to pound as many drinks in as you can. And then they proceed to tell you thier whole agenda with drinking…like, oh, I only drink on the weekends and, I only have a couple…..I mean, I didnt really ask. All I know is, its a scientific fact that alchohol turns to sugar that my body doesnt need. So why would I drink when I am trying to lose weight. No, Im not in recovery, Im not preaching that people have drinking problems. Trust me, I can do shots and pound drinks with the best of them….This is purely a nutritional decision. And yes, just one drink, can keep me one day from my goal.

Ok, enough of my rant!…..Hope everyone is having a positive day, and keep up the great work,

love and blessings,

J.Lo
