when you have a body like mine that can be the black version of the "Michelin man" ( in other words the endomorphic type), sometimes is difficult to accept that changes will come slowly.
It’s incredible how fast one can put pounds of fat in our body and how difficult is to get rid of them. Now don’t get me wrong I’m seen changes, but sometimes you wish the changes would come a little faster. Even in my field is difficult to accept and evaluate how fast you can accumulate fat when you eat like if you had a bottomless pit in your body, and how much work is needed to shed 2 pounds a week

This week has been a reminder of something I learn in med school, that sometimes you don’t to realize when you want to loose weight. Muscle is more dense and heavier than fat. Why am I saying this? Well this week I hit a little plateau on my weight loss but not because of incorrect diet or training (in my opinion) but because of "reviving" of my muscle cells, that for the looks of it decided to begin responding quicker than my fat does. The advantages of us endomorph is that we can gain muscle more easily and loose fat difficulty, and don’t get me wrong i only train with weights only 3 times a week, with resistance that lets me complete 12 to 15 reps in other words not a lot of plates in the barbell.
Now I feel great my clothes are more loose, i use to be size 50 (pant size) now i use 46 and still loose which means I’ll be needing a wardrope change (maybe 44). If my bodyfat hasn’t gone form 38% to 32% believe me I would be sad right now, but i’m happy because part of my plan was to get my muscle tone, but i didn’t expected to be this fast, looks like my 6 meals a day and the whey is making it’s job. Well i guess now that i will need to make some adjustment in my cardio training to compensate the for the muscle gain.
In the end I am happy with the result at least the muscle is reshaping the fat over it and I am tostarting to get some form again, don’t worry this time I will not quit, this time my life depends on this transformation

It has help me a lot to reduce my body fat. It’s funny that i sometimes argue with myself in the morning to do the cardio, because my mind says go but my body sometimes wants to stay in bed. since my mind is stronger i always beat the hell out of my body in my treadmill in the morning

Well at the moment i am very motivated, sharing my goals and photos in this site has helped me keep focus on the main goal. Right now I already have lost 21 pounds and drop 2 pant sizes from size 50 to size 46, this makes me very happy. I am seen results and my friends also have started noticing the weight loss too.
